The healing ointment is just petroleum jelly, used for light wounds and sealing in moisture in general. In this video, she’s talking about exfoliating acids for the body.
I brought it at Costco and was surprised at how well it moisturized my skin. Usually I need aquaphor or Eucerin cream but it’s so thick and sticky in summer, amlactin worked even better and not greasy.
I use it on my face and the back of my hands. Within 1 week my face was skin look bright and pink. Gone was the dullness and the age stops and age raised skin areas are dissipating. The 20 oz bottle was about 18.00 and had a 4 or 5 dollar coupon so I gave it a go. When I get up in the morning I use my face mask, then I use this lotion. I leave it on as long as I like, sometimes only a couple of hours, sometimes all day. The snow is not attractive but it does fade. I was suggest using this as that as you can to your skin looks bright and beautiful again and then use it several times a week after that
For the smell issue: Can sufficient results be achieved if applied for only 1-3 hrs & then wash it off? Or can it be mixed with another product to tamp down the smell, but may dilute its effectiveness?
I like this product but have to use it sparingly because if I put it on a large portion of skin then I get a headache every time. Also, make sure and read the bottle because it says not to use on the face
Because of you my skin looks so much better though i cannot afford (nor want to) purchase skin care from ulta or even target. I get my skin care from good ol’ dollar tree mostly. My huge tub of sun screen from wally world equate brand, please (also the equate brand giant tub of Vaseline.) my skin’s never been better!
I am a retired nurse and when I worked on long term unit in a rehab facility doctor’s would prescribe Lay-Hydrin a prescription strength Am Lactin. The results on the skin of the elderly was amazing! Their skin, actually sloughed off dead, flaky skin and revealed soft, smooth skin with less wrinkles and crepe skin. Just one thing, never, ever apply to open areas on skin! It will sting, cause much pain to patient, and impair healing process! Yup, Dr Dray, you hit the nail on the head again, this is great stuff! Thanks for a great informative video! You are definitely are a skincare wealth of knowledge!🙏🏻🥰👍🏻👏🏼🧴
Question: whats the difference in this and cerve healing ointment;if any? Thanks🤗

Amlactin works really well. But I can’t bear the SMELL!
This looks really promising. I wanna give it a try

Ty!
Lactic Acid makes me vomit. Do you have any suggestions with Glycolic Acid higher than 7%?
Alpha lotion on Amazon
It dissolves my age spots. The smell is bitter but its worth it.
Wait what? Which one? Did you use the jar or the bottle?
It stings my face a bit, and also has that smell. I don’t mind them at that price point. It’s an awesome moisturizer.
Does the smell go away when it dries down?
It is only intended for the body

The smell goes away and doesn’t persist.
I seen this on sale in the markdown area of Walmart for $2.50- that made me think it wasnt a good seller/product
It’s probably really good, for some people, but it burns really bad if your skin is broken, and has an uncomfortable milky smell.
@@poponachtschneckei nooooo I smelt it and thought ick! Lol

Isn’t this what’s recommended for crepey skin?
Thanks Doc 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
