    1. Try a little listening compression and less snark. She clearly was referring to the timing, which was applying it immediately after getting out the shower instead of waiting until after they do a bunch of other stuff such as brushing their teeth or doing their hair like many do.

    1. It’s absolutely inert, like putting a rock on your skin. Isn’t toxic and doesn’t absorb, it just makes a barrier that prevents any water loss

  2. I keep my moisturiser in my bathroom, so soon as Iam out of shower and dry off, I slather lotion on, really makes a difference😊and skin is sooo soft the next day

  3. People who have a skin care routine, and use other thing’s, can’t just put moisturizer on their face, as soon as they get out of the shower. That’s the last step in my routine!

    1. I agree. But I do use a moisturizing toner from Paula’s Choice. Best formulated products I’ve ever used, and I’m 71.

  4. I understand this for my body but what if I have other serums or toners etc to put on before my facial moisturiser? Even more confusingly some of the ingredients are best applied to very dry skin to avoid irritation (like glycolic acid). Am I damaging my skin by letting it dry out first

    1. I use Paula’s Choice skin care, and most everything is non irritating, no matter how you use it. The toners are great for preparing my skin for the rest of my routine, and they’re lightly moisturizing.
