I’m allergic to shea butter. It would nice if dermatologists and allergists could recommend products without tree nuts in them. I get hives and dyshidrotic eczema just from touching door handles or railings after people who wear lotions with shea butter or sweet almond oil in them. Shea butter seems to be in almost everything now.
@@greencilantrotigerI’m also allergic to beeswax. It makes life quite the adventure when trying to find products to moisturize eczema prone or dry skin without making the problem worse.
@@realfan375 How do you think I know that so many products contain shea butter and other tree nut ingredients? I not only read ingredients on cosmetic products but in foods as well. My whole entire life is reading ingredients. My point is that even my own dermatologist and allergist have lotions in their rooms that contain shea butter. If I go to one of these doctors for eczema, I’d appreciate not having my symptoms get worse. That also doesn’t take into account everyone who uses these products and then touch handles and other public areas causing cross contamination.
All the beauty & makeup influencers have been raving about what a great base/primer the Aquaphor stick balm makes for under the eyes. I’ve been seeing them test it: applying it under their eyes & then applying concealer &/or foundation on top.
Love this! I had no idea it came in a stick form. Perfect for always having on hand in my bag. You’re one sharp cookie, Dr. Dray! And by that I don’t mean the latest cookie collab. 😂👍
I have the same issue, was thinking this whole clip… Does my old aquafor have avocado oil? Wasn’t it hypoallergenic? Sad that so many things that were fine, are now weird and not the quality it was.
This Aquaphor healing balm stick also helps to decrease creasing with your undereye concealer! Unfortunately I wasn’t a fan of the Dollar Tree version, used it on my feet and it made the skin drier and rougher than from how it started, plain petroleum jelly worked better there for me..
I’ve got to say I suffered from dry chapped lips all my life no matter how many lip balms I’d apply or how much water I consume. I bought this aquaphor stick two weeks ago and have been applying it once in the morning and every single night. I’m just mind blown. At 33 years old now, my lips have never ever been this soft and hydrated. ❤❤❤❤
I have the balm stick from Dollar tree. It’s part of my winter armor 🥶
Exactly
I use the Vaseline one for lips, face and highlighter. The best if allergic to aquaphor ❤
Allergic to aquaphor? Nonsense
I can smell the Elmers glue stick in my head from childhood watching this! 🐄

Vaseline or beeswax chapstick, for example!

🙄snow bunnies are allergic to everything, most be alot to deal with
I wanna go boujee with Aquaphor. I’m surprised that aquaphor stick doesn’t have lanolin.
I do the same thing I use it as a Chapstick. With the amount of money, I spent on lip balms and serums. It’s a lot better than most.

Isn’t it the same as using aquaphor lip balm? (I’m wondering why having a huge one is better than the regular size ones)

If it didn’t have beeswax I’d use it in a heartbeat
I really want to try the PKY balm stick. Has an interesting vehicle.
Sincerely a great, straightforward product that does what it says.
“dollar tree divas” haha love it 🙌🏼
Why is avocado oil the new ‘it’ oil? Some of us (me) are allergic. It’s tragic, I know. I used to love me some guacamole 😩

Do all the extra ingredients make it a significantly better option than just plain old petroleum jelly?
I just got the Dollar Tree version after your recent video. Got multiple Dermasil products too. Thank you!
Lypsyl. Look it up. Works beautifully for chapped lips and it isn’t constantly either
I have multiple Aquaphor sticks all over my house and purse. Love them❤
