Yes! The legit high % Manuka Honey cost me around $50+ dollars from Whole Foods. It helped immensely, but other Korean skincare products provide the same results for a fraction of the price!
Yes! I do it and love it! Wash face, steam for 5 min, rinse with cool water and then apply honey for 20 min and rinse. You can also mix into plain yogurt. I use local honey and Manuka. Caution- some need to do a test for allergies. 🐝
When I was younger I would whip an egg white, crushed mint, and a little honey as a face mask. I have no idea what I was trying to achieve but I did it about once a week.
Manuka honey isn’t required. As long as its honey it will have antimicrobial properties. I used walmart branded 100% wikdflower honey to fight my sub derm and ita never come back.
Manuka has special healing properties, there are many studies being made with woundhealing etc, especially for people with wound healing disorders. Very interesting field I have to say. I stumbled across these studies during nurse school a few years back.
Excited to be here this evening Dr Dray Happy Wednesday . Thanks for sharing this have a good night.
The only thing proper manuka honey is pretty expensive 😂 might as well get that serum/cream/mask from one shelf up 😂😂😂
Yeah that a disadvantage of manuka honey so expensive to ship since it located exclusively in new zealand other than that it fantastic

I actually did that hack a few years back, I even used it for my hair.

Well how long do you put it on for?
It’s harmless so you can really leave it as long as you like but I usually leave it for 20-30 mins 💁♀️
Happy Wednesday Dr. Dray 😊

Hey really go for it and just wear a bee hive!
I have to say manuka honey facials cured my acne and the dermatitis around my eyes. This reminds me to start doing them again.
I recommend that you stay 18. It does wonders for your skin

Culturally we do that.
Rather apply it in my mouth lol
I use it every day. I mix it with instant coffee powder, and other oils.
Does any honey work?? The honey I use doesn’t have added sugars or anything.
Yea any honey works just don’t buy a cheap fake honey that’s mostly corn syrup
Tried pure Manuka with aesthetician, worst breakout of my life. Took many months of facials to heal

Yes you can use any honey Not Just Manuka the most expensive kind
I use a squirt of fresh lemon in a little honey as a mask. Vit C brightens and honey softens. Does no harm.
