Thank you for the great information Dr. Dray! My question is whether this type of device can safely be used for someone who has had basil cell cancer on the face/nose. I really enjoy your videos and regularly share them with my daughter!
I’m sleepy and giggling at “cutie bacterium” This is what my ears heard, and I don’t want to be corrected.
š
That’s literally how it looks in my head. I don’t want it corrected either!
I used an LED mask for over a year with minimal to none results. Same with dermarolling and derm stamping technology. I used very expensive products (cleansers, toners, creams, etc) The ONLY thing that has ever resulted in marked skin improvement:
1. In my 50s when I was going thru body image changes and made a good salary, very modest BOTOX and dermal fillers helped, but now it is not in my budget.
2. Consistent skin care with active ingredients and sunscreen every.darn.day.
3. After 5 years of prep on retinol otc products and Differin, I started the lowest dose of prescription Retin A (0.025%). I have zero irritation and will increase dosage in a couple of tubes. It has made a HUGE difference in tone, hyperpigmentation, blood flow, smoothness, evening out of tiny blackheads on nose and T zone.
which mask did you use?
Iāve been using the omnilux for almost2 years. My skin at 57 is in better shape than in my 40ās. I do use it daily and always take it on trips.
How so?
ā@LisaAnnGabriel I had visible sun spots, they are almost all faded. Also, my skin looks like it has a glow. Definitely helped with fine lines and dark circles around my eyes. I dont wear foundation anymore.
What is ur skin type dry or oily?
@reshma2588it can get very dry, but our winters are harsh here. Thatās another benefit I forgot to mention; I use to get dry patches around my nose, but I havenāt had to reach for my prescription cortisone cream in over a year. š
I have an Omnilux and I like it a lot. I use it 3 x a week on my face and neck- yes same mask sorry Dr. Dre! For me it has made my skin look clearer as far as melasma is concerned. I also use a retinol cream and resurfacing cream at night and vitamin C and sunscreen in the morning each and everyday. I have tried estrogen face cream but found that it made my melasma worse so I stopped. Thanks for all of your great advice!
I have been using a red light mask consistently for over a year now⦠I use it on my skin and on my head and while I canāt say for sure, itās the best thing ever it certainly hasnāt hurt and I will continue to use it
You tried the face mask on your head? Interested! Same mask use on face?
@neanea1173yes, I have the Dr Rajani mask x2. I use it on my head, neck, face, back of my hands. I use it almost every day.
@neanea1173me too! I put it on as a hat
I love love love yellow led light! It calms my skin and evens my skin tone so much ⤠And in a study it showed 29 % encrease in collagen compared to 33 % in case or red light. Good deal!
Have used the Omnilux mask for 2 years, it’s the only thing that has helped reduce my rosacea.
I love the OMNILUX contour mask! Unfortunately, there was a defect with the cord a year later and they gladly replaced it. I highly recommend it:-)
I have used the Omnilux mask for 18 months. I am 76 and I have experienced a noticeable difference in my fine lines and overall skin appearance. I had some trouble with the cords and Omnilux replaced the mask. I think the company response for issues is outstanding. I would buy this again and would highly recommend it.š
Fine lines at 76?
ā@liljeannie3445š
Iāve been using the Omni Lux contour and neck mask for about a year. I have very thin skin on my arms and was starting to get a lot of bruising and bleeding from skin tears. Iāve seen improvements on my face and neck. However, the biggest improvement has been to my arms. It has really strengthened the skin and significantly reduced the bruising on my arms. Love it!
Iām going to try this! Thank you so much š
I watch Dr. Dray videos while using my mask! :)
I’ve been using the Omnilux Contour for about 2 years. When I’m consistent i do notice my tone seems brighter and my redness is lessened. But the biggest difference is my eyebrows grew back LOL š
My eyebrows have grown thicker and darker alsoā¦after 3 months of everyday use of the eye brightener patch from omnilux..I am 75 and I still have good browsā¦. This makes me think that the red light would help hair on the head ā¦by the way, facial hair growth is not stimulated..I use the eye brightener all over my face and hands
I bought the omnilux for face and neck
and have been using for a short while and can certainly tell a difference already. I use a hydraulic acid serum each morning before my treatment. My skin throughout the day has more of a glow and softness since using and can certainly tell an improvement in the overall appearance. I am also a former
Esthetician and if using like once a week or not being consistent especially the first four weeks you wonāt see much of a difference, so key is consistency. When dealing with skincare being consistent doesnāt just apply with these infrared masks, but also with cleansing the face before bed and using the correct moisturizers along with a sunscreen as
well. If we want to get the results we are hoping for then we have to put a little time to the side even if itās 5 minutes a day and just do it!:) as I have told my clients in the past which I know is another topic, but good skincare isnāt just about what we apply to the skin, it also comes from within our bodies as
Such as the amount of sleep we get, the amount of stress we have and also the foods we put in our body. It all correlates together and sometimes can be forgotten!:). Just some
Of my own thoughts
Here and experiencesš Everyone have a blessed dayā¤
I purchased the current body led mask back in April and at first I was so excited to use it, I used it almost everyday. Now, almost 7 months later, I’m using it 3 to 5 times a week and I’ve noticed that a particularly stubborn sunspot on my face is now mostly faded. I struggled for years trying to get rid of that thing! I’m pretty happy with my mask.
Happy Monday Dr Drayā¦see you tomorrow xš¤©šš
I use a panel on my legs for pain. 10 minutes most days. Then I do my face 3 or 4 minutes. I can see the improvement on face. I have some wrinkles around my mouth, and the panel helped soften the wrinkles. My panel is red, inferred red. It also takes away a lot of leg pain.
Love my Omnilux masks! And I definitely notice a difference when Iām using them consistently. The only thing that discourages me from using them here and there is that I hate having to wait 10 minutes after washing my face to put moisturizer on. I know they sell like a hyaluronic acid product but itās overpriced and Iām not gonna spend my money on that. I also donāt think it would do a whole lot. My face needs a pretty heavy moisturizer. Thereās no getting around this issue, I just thought I would vent/share.
I apply the Good Molecules ($12) hyaluronic acid serum before using omnilux.
Iām a doctor, and āHealing Beyond The Systemā by David Collins completely changed how I look at modern medicine. Itās the kind of book I wish every patient would read.
I felt the same way.
