  1. I helped my mom fix her scalp after she was very sick and couldn’t shower. I used an apple vinegar scrub to loosen up the build up, shampoo and conditioned regularly, and then spent time with a fine tooth comb lifting out build up slowly over a week. Patience is key- the scalp can become tender when loosening up dirt. I help my mom shower now so she can stay healthy and clean ❤️

  2. highly recommend the ‘maintenance phase’ podcast episode on apple cider vinegar! the obsession over its alleged benefits it was really pushed by braggs and adopted by the internet

  3. This ruined my hair as a little dumb teenager who thought it sounded cool. Can’t tell you how many dumb things I tried as a teen cause the internet told me and I had no media literacy 😅

  4. Lol true though I had staph that nobody could diagnose for over a year so I started self medicating and putting it all over my body and even face needless to say my skin barrier is ruined and I have added more problems to my list than b4

    1. I decided to try it as deodorant several years ago. After a few days, I realized I was scratching my armpits raw. I was pretty dumb when I was 20.

  5. Thanks to Dr. Dray — finally took my butt to a dermatologist cause I was wasting my money on products and damaging my skin/scalp…finally got an answer to my skin problems

  6. I use diluted apple cider vinegar as a clarifying treatment 2-3 times a month and it works pretty well at getting rid of product residue. But then again I wash my hair more than once every 30 days. I can’t even imagine the amount of crap on the scalp going that long without shampooing 😢

  7. 😂😂😂 I love it. I don’t understand people’s obsession with apple cider vinegar. The smell makes me shudder 🤢

  8. Love it! Fix a flat tire? Too funny 😍 Thanks for trying to knock some sense into these foolish ideas 🌻

  9. I had the best scalp/ hair when I was on accutane and went months without washing my hair. The only thing I did to clean my hair was cold showers every day.

  10. My first few weeks on accutane were a nightmare. My scalp had so much dead skin and it looked like dandruff. I tried so many shampoos until I tried the ACV rinse and it got rid of the flakes. I only did it once maybe twice in addition to shampoo and lots of conditioner.

  11. I don’t understand how people can go so long without washing their hair.

I wash mine twice a day (when washing my face) and it’s the best it’s ever been

  12. Hilarious! I used to try apple cider vinegar rinse in my long hair and the odor would follow me around the rest of the day, not to mention if you have any dry skin or cuts on your body they burn like fire when you do that.
