  1. I want to try a salt rock again for deodorant, I liked the first time, do you suggest any other alternatives? I only like eucalyptus from Native in what I’ve tried. When I have to wear it, I love clinical strength formulas (Dove!) but generally am anti-chemical as it pertains to my male testosterone.

    1. I think the solid rock one lasts on me the longest. It burns a bit if you put it on right after shaving tho.

    2. You do know that while the crystal salt deodorants contain chemicals found in nature vs lab made chemicals the main component is usually potassium alum also known as potassium aluminum sulfate or aluminum zirconium?

    3. @aestheticslifeandstyle190 They don’t stop sweat. They only neutralize odor. Not very well if you sweat a lot.

    4. The salt rocks are using aluminum as the active ingredient too. It is just “naturally sourced” aluminum.

  2. I put glycolic acid (the ordinary) in a weleda spray bottle and spray underarms. Works like a charm.

    1. Because it kills the bacteria that create that foul odour (and gives some unwanted side effects – comes from exactly the same personal experience). But that approach is completely useless for people with hyperhidrosis and doesn’t stop the sweat at all.

  3. I’d love a lit review of aluminum antiperspirants and breast cancer sometime, it’s been a while since I did a deep dive.

    1. Aluminum-containing antiperspirants and breast cancer have been studied extensively. No major top-tier, respected medical research organization has found convincing evidence that aluminum in antiperspirants causes breast cancer. Ever.

  4. Hey dr dray. Been following your content for a while and love it. Can you do a video for nipple dryness/itchiness – it gave me mastitis and gets worse in the heat and I’d like to know how to fix it

    1. Aha, tell that to people who live in a tropical climate. When, after 10 min outside, you already feel drenched in sweat as if you’ve taken a shower.

    2. I am sure you’re nose blind as well. Be sure, those around can pick up a whiff…Stopping up sweat glands? with dirt?

  5. @DrDrayzday I saw an older video of your on hand cream and I’m wondering what you think of Prequel Hand Wrap? It has film formers etc. I’m someone who has had bleeding knuckles in the winter due to dryness since I was pretty young. Prequel hand wrap is the first thing I’ve used that has been helpful.

Have you tried it out yet?

  6. Any concerns re dementia or alzheimers with repeated aluminum exposure from anti-perspirants?

  7. I started using Laffes lavendar salt natural spray, and it lasts 24 hrs, no smell, and it lasted 3 days!
