    1. Either put your hair up or you can use a non-sticky sunscreen like Beauty of Joseon Aqua fresh or Canmake Mermaid Skin UV Clear.

  1. How do you reapply every 2 hours if you’ve got make up over the top? You have to wipe it all off and redo it every 2 hours?

    1. I tap it in gently, blush area last, to reapply when I don’t have a face mist sunscreen, but I definitely try to keep a mist handy just for that.

    2. If you’re in the sun all day and want the full protection of your sunscreen you need to apply the full amount. It is going to disturb your makeup. Sprays and spf powder may help a little but they’re not as protective. If you feel self conscious without base makeup you can use a tinted sunscreen. It’s not going to have as much coverage, but it evens the skintone a little. If you’re not in the sun for over 2 hours during the day you don’t need to reapply

    3. Great question! If you are determined to keep your skin safe, you will find a way that works for you. I’ve had success with the following over my morning makeup:
      1. Sunscreen sticks – Many are slick enough to apply over makeup without disturbing it or leaving a shiny finish.
      2. Makeup fixing sprays with SPF – I loved using these toward the end of the work day. (Can be stinky from alcohol: Close your eyes and hold your breath.)
      3. Makeup with SPF for touch-ups – Mainly cushion foundation and lip products, and you can find SPF blush sticks and eyeshadow.

  2. Unfortunately e.l.f. don’t market their sunscreen in Australia. I guess it’s not worth paying for the extreme amount of testing that’s required to certify a product as sunscreen here.

  3. I was dismayed to found out today that my 20-yr-old niece stopped using sunscreen and started sunbathing. She said she hates sunscreen. I wonder if she got pressured living closer to the beach while attending college with all the bleached blonde tan white girls around her. I also noticed that younger celebrities doesn’t necessarily promote sun protection 🫤

She was more attentive about sunscreen when she was a pre-med student but I guess science goes out the door the minute she switched to Bio-Psych? Sigh 😒
