we definitely need fluoride though. another common culprit can be SLS and it’s possible whatever you switched to also doesn’t have the SLS in it which might be helping. fluoride is so important though. i use burt’s bees toothpaste and it’s been perfect so far (has fluoride but no SLS)
after using 7 dermatologists over 14 years, and doing all kinds of crazy things to rid my face of the rash, finally one Dr. prescribed minocycline…the rash is gone.
I used to get perioral dermatitis often a few years ago. Nothing my dermatologist gave me worked. Finally tried zinc baby cream every night and it cleared up fast. Why don’t doctors recommend zinc?
I AM SOO GLAD TO SEE THIS! 2 years ago i struggled AWFUL with this and no ome knew what tf was going on! I figured it out and have kept it calm and at bay since! Minor flare up once since! Much appreciate this video!
My dermatologist told me that exact same thing 25 years ago! I was 26 years old then with bumps, redness, pain right next to my lips. I thought he was crazy. Tazorac cleared it up but I keep it in mind still today.
I thought it was the fluoride. I switched to non fluoride and that helped alot

Yes sodium laureth sulfate in toothpaste can cause reactions in some people. It’s put in the toothpaste to help it foam.
switch back to a flouride toothpaste that doesn’t have sodium laureth sulfate. We need flouride in our toothpaste to help prevent tooth decay
Tried the Watermelon you suggested. Great!
De la Cruz Sulfur 10% otc cream is a miracle when mine flares up every couple of years. Bet part: it costs 5 bucks!
Doesn’t it dry the skin even more? How do you use it, I’m trying to figure out a way to go about it
good advice, thank you!😊👍
And another simple thing
Just brush your teeth before washing your face
I brush my teeth first and take shower and rinse everything off. So far so good😎
Just be sure the kids toothpaste has fluoride
My daughter has really sensitive skin and I never even thought it could be this. I’m going to give it a try and see if it helps, thanks!
