  1. Can you talk about biotin and its effects ? I took 10 000mg for 3 months but had cystic acne because of it(I think). Thank you for your inputs !!
    Cheers

    1. She’s done multiple videos on biotin. She says it’s useless for hair growth (but may help nails) & doesn’t recommend it unless you are truly deficient in biotin (most are not deficient). It can also cause problems with certain medical tests in addition to other unwanted side effects.

    2. acne is a known side effect of biotin supplements. Dr dray has said it a few times in some of her videos. plus it has no benefits unless you have a biotin deficiency. it also wont help hair loss which is what people usually take biotin for.

  2. I have oily skin. Tried a moisturiser with Urea in it, clogged up my pores like crazy. I suspect the Cicaplast would make me break out too. I use a cheap basic moisturiser without fragrance, because Dr. Dray influenced me years ago. Works for me.

    1. chances are it’s not the urea. Cicaplast can make you break out if you have acne prone skin or fungal acne bc it has shea butter and the formulation is very thick, even if says “non comedogenic”

    2. I’ve oily skin too and Cicaplast works wonderfully during winter for me! But I didn’t notice any improvement with sebaceous filaments.

  3. That’s really true. I thought only salicylic acid could help. Now that it is winter, I tried a Cetaphil moisturiser before sleeping and it worked wonders in clearing up sebaceous filaments.

  4. I wakeup with 1kg oil on my face, i cant use any moisturizer with any oil (shea mia what ever healthy) i still break out ..and these little dark bast… on the nose never go away 😭please dr share any good alternatives thanks alot. love ❤

  5. I really want to use a moisturizer but after trying so many I’m convinced they encourage whiteheads & sebaceous hyperplasia for me….because both increase when I moisturize. I wsh i could find something that didn’t 🤔

  6. I feel like this is a big myth, if you have oily skin you can’t use a moisturizer. So yes we need to hear more of this
