I when I can no longer pump it out. I take the pump off and I smack into my hand. Try it as much as I can out and even turn it upside down.

Just replace the pump with a cap from another bottle and leave the container upside down. Gravity will get it all out.
I recently saw someone put the bottle in a shopping bag, swing it in circles for a while, then centrifugal force moved all the product to one ends without hurting yourself from shaking it so much. I tried it with conditioner and it worked great
There are folks who use the Theragun to vibrate it all down to the bottom of the container. As for tubes, you have tube keys you can use to help roll it down further.
You don’t really need a tube key to get product out of the bottom of a tube. Just use the palm of your hand and the edge of a counter. It does a great job of pushing the stuff down in the tube.

I have been doing this for years, I hate waste! I sometimes scoop all the product left in the top into the bottom half then cover with a good quality baggie. Sometimes I scoop all the leftover into small glass jars that have been sterilized and label & date with a sharpie.
Welcome, glad you’re here. This is normal in a black house hold. We know to cut the bottle open. When you think it’s done, it’s not done.

I avoid pump bottles as much as possible. Not just to avoid having to cut them to get the rest. It’s just so much more plastic with the pump. None of us need more plastic in our lives.
Happens with tubes, too. I cut the end off the toothpaste tube and there are always at least 2-3 brushings worth of paste still in there. And when you think that expensive tube of tretinoin can yield no more, you might be surprised if you look inside. Beware, though – the cut edges of metal tubes are razor sharp!

Once you can’t pump any more you invert the bottle and allow gravity do its work.
Hey, some of us were taught to cut open every bottle and tube that’s been in our house every. Single. Time. Since childhood. Cuz they’ve been ripping us off for literal decades.
Why? Just replace the pump with a cap from another bottle and leave it upside down.
I’ve done this my entire life. I leave nothing. I use my little spatula and scoop out everything from yogurt containers to toothpaste tubes.
Growing up my sibling would get so mad at me because I would cut the top off every bathroom product to continue using it. This goes for literally everything.

This is my method. I do not decant. I just place the container in a ziplok bag.

I have bottles like this and I turn them upside down and then untwist the pump part so you can still get the product out of the bottle. It’s easy to do.
The Byoma ones (which Dr Dray complains about in the video) don’t have a twistable pump, like it doesn’t come off. On top of that it’s from very hard plastic so cutting is also not an option

I dont think opening a pump bottle to use the remaining product for a few days is “dangerous”, especially for moisturizers, its not that deep …
I always cut open containers when I think it’s “gone”. Always get a few uses after that. Money is Money!

Don’t cut open bottles like this with pumps. The pump cannot get everything out. Bottle neck sizes are standard. Replace the pump with a screw on cap from a squeeze bottle and store it upside down. Y’ll get it all.

Never sliced an container but I’ve definitely took the lid off. And knocked every loose drip out. 😂😂😂
