Started losing my hair 3-4 months postpartum. I went back on spironolactone and the shedding stop within a week or two.
Ummm I know everyone says it grows back. But a quarter size patch of mine at the hairline with my second child never grew back.

Can having an out of the ordinary medical procedure cause undue hair shedding? A little over a year ago I had a Stress echocardiogram (with IV dye) and a month or so after I started seeing so much more hair shedding than normal and unfortunately it is still going on. Is this just my time lose my hair from aging (68 yrs old) ?? I take no prescription medicines so I wondered whether the IV dye could have caused it? Thanks

Mine was to my backside then I had bald clumps everywhere . It came out in chunks for years and then a Chinese herbalist recommended I try biotin. I did not think it was going to work but it actually did. My hair grew back. It’s nowhere near as good as it was before not as thick but my hair does not fall out any more. And it would take some time to restore it back to what it was. I lost a lot of hair.
