Oh darn I got my hopes all up and then went to the website and read the ingredient list; Avobenzone-3.0%, Octisalate-5.0%, Octocrylene-8.0%, Homosalate-7.0%. Unfortunately, chemical filters and my eyes are not friends my eyes just blow up like I’ve been attacked by a swarm of bees. I will have to be sticking with my mineral filter sunscreens, and just deal with the white cast or the overly pigmented tinted versions.
If you live in Europe i think Madara SPF 30 (for face) is great, for my skin tone at least. The only tinted mineral sunscreen that completely blends with my skin and is invisible. But it is if you have cool tone skin, like rose ivory i think it is. Their spf50 sunscreen actually has a more warm undertoned tint that didnt go well with my skin at all.
Though I have found La Roche posay anthelios uvmune liquid something sunscreen to actually not burn my eyes, so right now i use that one, but not daily.
Which mineral sunscreen do you use for your face?
@@merlinsbeard9145I’m trying to avoid chemical sunscreens as they contain hormone disrupters. Mineral sunscreens dry my skin out so I’m kind of stuck. Would you say the one u suggested is moisturising?

AGREED! I swear by Trader Joe’s sunscreen. I snatch up multiple tubes of it every time I see them in stock because they are often out of stock with bare shelves, especially during the summer months.
If you have oily skin, it may not be good as a primer.
I wish it came in a bigger tube, i go through this so fast!

It doesn’t “run” into my eyes, but something about it causes my eyes to become slightly swollen and irritated for about 30min-1hr. (Even if I don’t put it anywhere near my eyes) I will say though, after the irritation goes away, I’m fine and it works so much better for me than physical sunscreen, because I sweat like crazy, even in a slightly warm room if I’m exerting myself in any way.
You’re not alone on the sweating issue. I live in west Central Georgia and it’s incredibly humid just going to the car some days I get soaked (it feels that way).
I will grab some of this product and give it a go
Try a mineral stick sunscreen around your eyes. Copper tone makes one but there are many. Then you can put the Elf sunscreen on the other areas of your face

I have 12 year old boys, so picky consumers when it comes to facial products. This one and the TJ’s are their current favorite daily sunscreens. I, on the other hand, find the scents of both of them offputting. The TJs one smells citrusy, like a bathroom cleaner, and the ELF one is just straight chemical smell.

I have a very oily t zone and also randomly break out in a full body sweat for no reason. It’s not (peri)menopause and the doctors haven’t been able to figure out why this is happening yet. All this to say I’m wondering how well it holds up to sweat and combo oily skin? Plus my eyes are pretty sensitive to sunscreen so I’m wondering if anyone has had any issues with this particular product? Thoughts? Lastly what level of coverage it offers?

I just use badger. No white cast. All natural 4 ingredients and is impossible to get off
My go to spf. I can’t live without this stuff it’s the best thing I’ve ever tired. I have combo skin. It smooths my pores and fine lines. Works amazing under makeup up or alone. Doesn’t burn or sting my eyes and I can keep reapplying over and over again and it never gets greasy. My only issue is I go though a tube of this in a week. They need a bigger amount.
This is so great for my skin, who doesn’t like many other sunscreens this year.
I tried this and it smells bad to me. Very strong chemical kind of smell
@donnaatienza8001 If you don’t like the smell then don’t use it 🤷♀️ I honestly don’t notice any smell.
I just brought this sunscreen recently 🤗 mostly because of the price! Because I’m a woman on a budget
I bought hoping it would be better than the supergoop but it was way too runny and oily for me. It separated in the tube and very liquidy. I stick to my supergoop even though it’s expensive, it’s worth paying for the quality.

I use the Nivea Super Water Gel.
So I tried superscoop and Trader joe’s version of unseen, and they both made me build up spacious filaments on my nose so fast😢
