    1. She overlined her lips. The lip area or the nose and eyelids (except eyelash area) normally have no hair. I think the only other part of the body without hair would be underneath the feet and the palms of our hand, pretty mich everywhere else we naturally have some sort of hair, longer, shorter, darker or barely visible.

    1. Yep….I haven’t had any problems either with shaving. Infact, once you get past a certain age your skin will be damaged by waxing.

  1. I pluck the spikey and darker ones and the rest, which is the peach fuzz I trim with a face shaver, or whatever it’s called. I only started this recently, moving into my late 30s as the hair started to be more stubborn and visible. Probably has something to do with hormones and aging 🙄 I guess it never bothered me before, but now that it started…it simply annoys me when I can feel it under my fingertips, so I decided to deal with. 😅 part of new routine. Btw I’m a light blonde, fair skin, but some of the hairs are visible and long and the phone front camera has no mercy. I do it for my own sanity 😂

    1. I forgot to specify. I’m only doing it on the upper lip and chin area. My cheeks or between the eybrows are fine. I know most people would have the mono brow issue or darker hair on the side of their cheeks perhaps.

    2. You’re not supposed to shave (or do anything with) peach fuzz. That’s why it became thicker and more stubborn.

    3. @kompassorpigo7600 my peach fuzz didn’t change. I shave it around the lips as it started to bother me visually. I started to notice it, or it became more prominent with age, before I even done anything about it.

    4. @@batbats89I noticed it too once I turned 36. 😅 And the shaving (others say “dermaplaning” and suddenly it is a skincare method…) changes the entire look, how smooth my skin feels and how indetectable makeup gets. Amazing. 😊👍 This myth that they might grow back thicker has been debunked decades ago.

    5. Hahaha, I do the same. I’ve never in my life had dark, thick hairs on my legs, but my younger self decided the fuzzy, long hairs had to go, as I was going to wear a dress and didn’t want them visible. I did this 2–3 times… I regret it so much now 😭 because I’m just out here tweezing all those thick hairs that pop up here and there and now I look like I have strawberry skin when my hair grows😔😭😭

  2. I have a light mustache. I just leave it alone lol. I had some guys tease me about it throughout my life but I don’t care. I don’t want to shave it because when it grows out it looks worse so I would have to continue shaving. My hair and nails grow fast!

    1. Exactly! Who has time to pluck hair that naturally grows on your face? I have more important and productive things to do.

    2. I have light skin and thick hair so I did a lot of lasering but there’s still a green shadow 😭. If you don’t have that problem though you should try lasering it definitely works.

  3. I never once ever got ingrown hairs from waxing or plucking any hair on my body. But i mean to tell ya, i definitely got ingrowns and razor bumbs in my bikini area if i shave. Doesn’t matter of i go with the grain or against or woth a light touch or a heavy touch or use shave gel, foam, cream, fragrance free dove soap, whatever, i get razor bumps regardless. Only time i don’t is if i get waxed (well i got sugared).

    1. For me, using a thick layer of conditioner/hair mask before the razor was a game changer. Never again in my life an ingrown, a cut nor a rash

  4. The makeup still on removing they hair…yikes!! Your waiting for an infection or irritation. Bacteria and dirt and makeup don’t mix.

    1. But makeups contain preservatives, surely they’re not laden with bacteria. If anything, they might provide a barrier that keeps other stuff out.

    2. This was my thought. Why not pluck it when the lips are clean and bare then apply a barrier cream or ointment. Yikes is right.

    3. @@RainbowFishSaysHellothe preservatives kill bacteria that gets on the applicator from is applying the lipstick/gloss on our lips? Doubtful. So yes. Her lipstick and liner contain bacteria

  5. I epilate my chin hairs for years. Never had any problems with epilating, plugging and waxing. But with shaving I do.🤭

  6. As a man I get loads of ingrown hairs around my chin. It’s easy to find them as they are usually thicker. Honestly it’s so satisfying taking them out. They come out with zero tension and zero pain.

  7. Such a great explanation…exactly what happened to me when I plucked a hair…caused hyperpigmentation, scarring and re-grew as an in grown. 😭
