Dr. Dray went over this, but the culprit might be due to hard water, rather than your previous body washes. She also went over that tea tree oil only provides a tingly sensation, but it doesn’t actually do anything particularly special for the skin — if I’m remembering correctly 😅😮
It’s conditioner for hair did the same too?, cz i don’t rinse off completely that i hope those vitamin soak perfectly to my hair, like… i rinse off 60% .
Using a minimal amount of a gentle, soap-free, low-lathering body wash only in my skin folds and areas with greater sweat and/or oil glands and rinsing well is saving my skin from psoriasis and eczema flares. I also shut the water off while lathering to reduce hard water contact.
Is the scent that lingers after using a scented wash an indication that there is potentially irritating residue? I mean, are the formulators using residue-forming ingredients to help the scent stay on the skin? Or do fragrance chemicals behave differently than the chemicals that tend to leave residue? (I’m aware that fragrance itself can trigger irritation.)
Good Evening Dr Dray ❤
I stopped using traditional body wash and only use tea tree body wash. Because I could feel the buildup on my skin.

Tea tree oil and extract are known irritants for some people as Dr. Dray has mentioned in some videos. I’m highly allergic to both.
I’ve found water does most of the cleaning your skin can’t do.
Helpful information & advice! 👍
I only use soap on the important places with no issues. I never use body wash at all. Sugar scrub for shaving my legs, shampoo and that’s it.
I agree it shouldn’t be a car wash

Thank you!! Now I know why my eczema only flares up when I’m at my apartment that has cheap water.

Any non residue body wash tips? I already use the benzoyl peroxide in my pits and between toes.
