Before I was ever diagnosed with lupus, any time I was in the sun, the first thing to turn red and the last thing to calm down was my red nose. Only my nose- no cheek involvement at all
The take-home message is always to see a licensed healthcare professional if you have a medical problem, and stay far, far away from the advice of Professor TikTok.
Yeah… After one week with a nose that colour I would have been at my doctor’s office. I know we can’t really tell from a short tiktok video but I hope this young woman hasn’t spent all this time just camouflaging it in the hope it will go away 😬. Unfortunately I have a sinking feeling that she has.
Non-stop allergies for five years?!? For couple.of days, maybe, but after that you’d have to be thinking it could be something else, surely? She looks like a clown! It’s not something I would ignore. My health is more important than the cost of my deductible.
This is why I can’t stand it when people say, “You don’t need a degree!”…bruh, can we appreciate this vast knowledge and understanding for once! Thank you.
I wish I knew why my nose is red. My nose looks very similar. Various Dermatologists have told me it’s due to broken capillaries and laser treatment may help.
Mine has been red for 20 years and got worse as I’ve got older. I look after my skin and wear factor 50 every day, and it’s never gone. Annoyingly, it is the first place that foundation or concealer melts away or rubs away from so I constantly have to check my makeup.

Port wine birthmarks are very common on the face. Mine is mostly on my left cheek, left side of my nose and left side of my mouth.

Not all thoughts should become comments, Wendy.

Then you should consider the possibility of an underlying issue like discussed in this video.
Hey Andrea does the skin on ur nose crack and peel besides the redness?
I always have some redness and a few small blood vessels around my nose wings
everything leads to tuberculosis….
🤦🏻♀️
Dang. Another educational video on skin conditions. It’s very interesting. Thanks for the video Dr. Dray ❤️🫶🏼

Maybe because of the réflexion of sunglasses….
I wonder how many future issues have been prevented by Dr Dray’s wonderful videos. What a treasure she is.

Yeah because it’s expensive to go to the doctor for something like this. I have this and just thought it was allergies.

@PeterH-be1xeI’ve had worse problems and doctors dont help me so a red nose has been the least of my worries.

Great another thing to worry about that I don’t want to.
Could be an alcoholic either
