Happy Monday! I have been traveling so I have not had an opportunity to wish you lots of happiness in your new home! I love the peeks that you have provided so far. Your home has so much character and charm. I love your vision to furnish it with vintage finds. Wish I was closer to join you in your great adventures of antiquing. It is one of my favorite hobbies.
Thank you!
Greetings Theresa Berg hope u r well n Happy Monday😀👍💜….
Here in Brazil both are sell! Nivea luminous 630 has a lot of people on YouTube showing the results. Nivea also has a sunscreen with luminous 630 (thiamidol) and one of the women I follow used and showed us the result of her melasma cleaning (she is real, real, not one of those influencers who does Photoshop), she also used that one of Eucerin serum and loved.
I bought the Nivea luminous 630 serum and I’m waiting for it (it suppost to be here today, but nothing yet). Because is half of the price or low of Eucerin, Nivea Luminous 630 is more used in Brazil. I can’t wait to try it! 🥺❤️
Sounds exciting!❤
Oi Bruna!
Yea just realized both companies have the same parent company, no wonder they both contain the same ingredient
I love you dr. Dray!
A few weeks ago, I bought eucerin serum with thiamidol, but I was worried about using a new ingredient. Then I asked you to make a video about it, and here we are. Thanks a lot for caring ❤
thanks for watching
460 $ no mam 😅. I will continue with my alpha arbutin and it’s fragrance free 🎉. Thanks for the info on thiamidol 😊❤.
I can tell you (anecdotically) Thiamidol got rid of a huge papule pustule red mark in 1 month and a half. Like made it completely disappear. Sadly i have dry skin and eucerin loves putting Alcohol denat and fragrance in everything.
The thing about fragrance- you can enjoy it in many ways: shampoo and other hair products, perfumes and antiperspirants. But my opinion -it doesn’t belong in skincare. Many of us love nice smelling products, we just can’t use it on our face, but everyone can use fragrance free skincare.
You’re so right. I run away from perfumes. 😂
Absolutely! Unnecessary and harmful chemicals! Used by the companies for one reason only: making their products distinctive.
Or makeup, with ya!
I mean for people who can’t use it don’t use it, but there’s people who can and enjoy fragranced products and they should have the option to use it if they want to. The solution is to offer both fragranced and fragranced free not completely eliminate one
@@simplybri3608but if it’s not affordable for a company to make both, they should go with unscented.
Exactly, brands, please don’t put fragrance into anti-dark spot products and sunscreens!
I’ve been using the eucerin anti pigment night moisturizer for melasma and I completely agree about the fragrance! It isn’t pleasant at all. It says “light aloe Vera scent” but it just smells like chemicals. It’s super unpleasant when you’re trying to wind down for bed and the smell is lingering so close to your nose. I’ve continued to use it though because I really want a more even skin tone and the study comparing it to hydroquinone was promising.
Eucerin’s thiamidol has helped my melasma.
I have seen good results
Mine too. I still have it but to a leser extent. In fact, I haven’t seen such results with any other active I tried (kojic acid, arbutin, niacinamide, vit c; hq I don’t tolerate)
@@noemi-mi-mi Same. Hydroquinone does hardly anything for my melasma oddly.
Same for me.
Same for me. It’s actually remarkable how well it’s working, both for the melasma and my complexion overall.
I know it’s controversial, but kojic acid soap has given me glowing skin. I am blonde with medium skin tones (usually go for the “nude” or “golden ivory” foundation). Kojic acid soap every other day has made my skin so even toned I wear a little tinted sunscreen (Nivea or Neutrogena) and have really nice looking skin. Anyway, works for me.
Can you tell which kojic acid soap helped you? Where did you buy it from?
Is your skin sensitive?
Are you using kojie san?
This comment is not helpful without sharing the soap you actually used 😅
Not sure about american Eucerin formulations but I am blue eyes blonde hair white male and this was the only thing that worked for me, does not matter if I take eucerin or nivea luminious products in 4 weeks my dark spots just gone
@@minozuuu be careful her follower will come after you 😂
@@simo96115why?
I asked several times to her to review it because in the melasma community they’re having a lot of success with this. 😅
@@simo96115why? People can agree or disagree lmao this is not a cult
I have been using the Nivea Luminous 630 sunscreen, that is available in Brazil, for close to 1 year. It’s lightweight and works for my skin. It smells like many other Nivea products…
Dr Alexis Stepehens talked about Eucerin anti-pigment and Thiamidol many months ago on her channel so I got it for my mom who is dark skinned and had developed really bad melasma. Almost like a dark mask. her derm prescribed a cream that did nothing. I agree, it does have a strong scent BUT it has worked for her. She uses the suncreen 1x day and serum 2x per day. After about 4 months its almost completely gone. For her it’s worrth the scent.
She probably would get better results if sunscreen was applied 2x/day
Nivea Luminous and Eucerin Anti-Pigment have almost identical ingredients, both nivea and eucerin are beiersdorf brands, they release the same products under two different names, the eurcerin (luxury brand) version costs more and is only sold in pharmacies, while nivea is sold in supermarkets.
The beat and most honest Dermatologist on Facebook. Straight up whether it’s good or not, and try or don’t. Love you Dr. DRAY.
I watched your recent video introducing LaRoche Posay’s new Melasyl pigment corrector and it’s great. It has a rich hydrating formula and a subtle floral fragrance. Hopefully it will fade my age spots which is the reason I bought it in the first place. :) Congratulations on your charming new home. I’m sure you’re having some fun furnishing it!
Love the added pink pillow! 😊
I tend to not repurchase skincare products, but the Eucerin anti-pigment and tretinoin have been staples for me for years. While there’s still fragrance in the Eucerin serum, they’ve changed it from a nauseating perfume smell to a fresh scent. I like it much better and still get no irritation. I can’t speak for the other products in the line because I only use the serum.
I wonder if you realize how much of an impact you’ve had on people.
We couldn’t get this kind of information anywhere
I tell every person who asks about my skin what I do and I just save the trouble by leading them your way.
I’ve followed for years and still in awe of your intelligence and way of explaining
