I developed calcium deposits on my forehead after receiving Dysport injections. For years, my clinician has used Dysport for me and I never had an issue. The only possible correlation is that at the of treatment I was recovering from breast cancer and the calcium deposits were the result of an autoimmune response. They were easily removed and I have not had that reaction in subsequent Dysport treatments. Thank you for your informative videos
RN (Oncology Nurse Navigator) here. Two questions: 1. Did your oncologist know you were getting Dysport around or at the time you were under chemotherapy? Also, 2. And you returned for further Dysport injections after this event? I would lay off of them for awhile. Good luck. ❤️

Hypermobile Ehlers Danlos here. Yup I have these. Not too bad though. I do have them on my hands but probably only I notice them. I use to worry, before EDS diagnosis, that I might have a very mild form of neurofibromotosis and because that is so disfiguring, the thought of it was terrifying. Finally, several years ago, I decided it is calcium deposits. Glad you mentioned EDS in your video. Made me feel better. The information you provide truly helps so many people personally and helps us realize dermatologists aren’t just for botox and to see a dermatologist specialist rather than trust our GP to know what’s going on with our skin, one of the largest organs of our body. Thank you.

I have a little calcinosis cutis on my arm from an ancient bug bite. My doctor equated it with the way an oyster makes a pearl around a piece of sand just to cordon it off. It’s kinda neat.
So many skin conditions. they all pretty much look the same. How do you keep them all straight?

I had a dermatologist about 15 years ago tell me the tiny white dots on my face are due to high cholesterol. He just scooped out the ones around my eyes and on my upper cheeks and I’ve only had one or two since then.

It can also be miliary osteoma cutis. I was diagnosed with this condition on my cheeks. They are small calcified bumps under the skin.

I have guessed that these are what I have all over my forehead. I have an autoimmune issue and started getting it around the time I noticed the symptoms of the autoimmune.
