slugging is a no for me – i don’t mind the feeling, but i’m a person who smushes their face in their pillow/toss and turn all night, so the vaseline just ends up wiped off within minutes lol.

exactly my issue. I thrash around in my sleep and smush my face in my pillow. I also hate that it gets all in my hair which the vaseline glues onto my face. It’s the hardest thing to remove!
My face is so dry from perimenopause and slugging has been a lifesaver … I may invest in a reusable facemask to amp it up even more

I happen to like snail stuff. It took me a while to come to grips with the idea that it was from snails, but supposedly they’re not killed for that. They’re raised in a farm although now I think of chickens being raised inside tight little cages then I think of the snails not being able to roam around. Geez, I think too much but I do like it on my face and I do think it moisturizes very well.
Yes, really hard to move past the snail and the mucin for me!
A few years ago on a whim I tried the Eco Your Skin Meso Ampoule with the spicules and I couldn’t get through the bottle before it expired. Glad to know I’m not the only one😆
Impressive that you tried! When I first applied the Reedle shot, I had to wash it off after a few seconds. It felt so very wrong.
I had never heard of the term before but, I LOVE, “sluggish “. Although, I put a very thin coat of Vaseline😍

Well, I definitely agree with you about snail mucin🙄 I tried it and couldn’t figure out what was the big deal? It dried my skin out. I know others live by it, but not me. As for PDRN, I went for Rejuran serum and am really liking it. I do plan on repurchasing. I’ve heard good thing about genabelle, and maybe will try their new balm, but will stick with Rejuran. Thank you for another great video. And the collagen masks are still in my cart lol on Stylevanna, and will get when I order from them again.
I am not a fan of traditional slugging via Vaseline either but can recommend Shiseido – Ihada Night Pack, which I discovered on a recent visit to Japan. Love it!

Instead of Vaseline- I use balm products, like The FAB ultra repair rescue balm. Etude House also makes one and Pyunkang Yul makes one in a stick form.
Good cleanser, hydrating toner, tretinoin, moisturizer and sunscreen… tried and true.

I agree with most of these. The Reedle shots never appealed to me. I’ve used a dermaroller and would prefer that over these serums. Snail mucin and slugging are two more things I don’t do. Done one or two sheet masks, and that’s that’s about it. I have sensitive and reactive skin, so I’m careful with ingredients and formulations.
Of all the ingredients mentioned my skin loves snail products and I was amazed. Otherwise the rest not my jam as well.
I watched Dr. Dray’s video on the VT needle shot and I’ll never use the stuff after that :)
I don’t like the reedles. I’ve tried some on the back of my hands, aaand nope..
I also tried the reedles, but they clocked my pores really bad, I got spots and my pores were more visible instead of less…
As a Latina snail stuff was never for me (us in general) I feel it contributed to a surge of fungal acne, me included.
I really hated slugging with Vaseline all over my face but found it fantastic for my lips 👄, a very thin layer on top of a lip mask or balm at night & it has completely transformed them 😀
