Omg i was at target looking at sunscreen and some guy started lecturing me about toxic chemicals in sunscreen! This happened today lol still bought what i was going to buy because i trust Dr. Dray. PERIOD.
Thoughts on “reef safe” sunscreens? Are those claims actually legit especially if theoretically everyone wore the appropriate amount of sunscreen daily and reapplied accordingly?
For all those people with sensitive eyes who refuse to wear sunscreen because it’s hurts their under eyes, here’s a tip: set it with setting powder and a small brush. Signed a mua.
COTZ Face Prime & Protect SPF 40 Sheer Matte Mineral Sunscreen in Tinted or Non-tinted is the best velvety smooth formula which glides on without running into eyes, no matter how close I apply. I’ve been using it for almost 30 years. ISDEN PHOTO Ultralight Emulsion 100% Mineral Sunscreen SPF 50 Eryfotona Ageless or Actinica are also wonderful, a bit more glowy, and safe around eyes. 💋
Thank you for simplifying my sunscreen choices! I dislike the white cast of zinc-based sunscreens, and much prefer the chemical lotions. I was hesitating about the latter, but went ahead anyways. Glad I did. Thanks, doc!
Same! I have worn sunscreen and stayed out of the sun as much as possible for the last three years. I got stuck out in the sun in the middle of the day without sunscreen and not weather appropriate clothing, and I got a second-degree sunburn on my chest shoulders and back and face. I’m in so much pain.
I’m with you! My 24 year old sister lectures me on the toxicity of sunscreen and the physiological necessity of regular UV exposure as she sunbathes 😮 I lecture her on the dangers of unprotected UV exposure, especially during midday sun, as I wear my UPF clothing, sunscreen and sit beside her under an umbrella 😂
We are polar opposites when it comes to this issue. I’m 9 years older than her but I have a sneaking suspicion I will get mistaken for the “younger sister” in about 10-15 years ❤
I just ordered three more sunscreens for my face that I have never tried before. I know, I know, I already have plenty to choose from, but I learned from Dr. Dray that you can never have too many sunscreens if you use them every day!
I felt that in my eyes 😢
Lil😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 luv u dr Dray
This made me legit laugh out loud 😂
Same 😂

So frustrating
The latest is that chemical sunscreen is bad and mineral sunscreen is good. What are your thoughts doctor?
No evidence to support that, just opinions and feelings
Mineral sunscreen doesn’t irritate my eyes. Chemical sunscreen hurts so much that I end up practically blind! 😎 😂
You your point!😂😂😂
*made
😂😂😂 brb gonna go slather on some beef tallow

Not legit at all
I genuinley thought I was about to lose my left eye 😭

I just use baby sunscreen. It doesn’t hurt my eyes.

Lol! What body sunscreen do you recommend for pregnancy? Mostly my arms and shoulders. The mineral ones are staining my clothes!! Thank you!
not me legit flinching!😆
Since I’ve been listening to her my skin looks great
Taking those toxics out!!! 😂
Thanks to you Dr. Dray I’m using two chemical sunscreens and I LOVE them!
Naked Sundays and Abib and my arms and top of hands get Banana Boat.😂👍
And I thought my left eye was a goner with that splat!😂
As a fair skinned girly I’d much rather take my chances against sunscreen than face off against sun poisoning and skin cancer

These toxic chemicals are keeping me younger than most zoomers I see. Keep giving me these chemicals. I need more of that good stuff.
