Yes, love a good spatula. Especially for cleansing balms 😊
I do!!! I wash them after I am done with cleansers that include them and reuse on balms that do not have spatulas
Yes 100%. If a scoopable product doesn’t come with a scooping device I’ll reuse an older one. I don’t want to add any kind of contaminates that could degrade my products by dipping my fingers right in.
I’m someone who doesn’t. I totally understand why others do, and as much as I am motivated to do my skincare because I genuinely love it, the moment I start making things I love feel chore-like, I start losing motivation to do them. When I do things I enjoy I do them because they are fun. I have enough chore-like things to do as it is, lol.
However, I know this is an obvious thing to do, but I wash my hands before doing any skincare, because I feel like that keeps all the germs out. (At least just as much as the spatula, because inevitably the spatula has to touch your skin, and then you either wash it, and I’m already washing my hands, or you don’t, then it’s not as clean anymore. Then I’m like why am I using the spatula, lmao.) Plus jar products are formulated to have enough preservatives and everything, so I’m not worried about them unless it’s like vitamin C or something. Before anyone comes for me, I’ma remind y’all this is just what I, as someone who loses motivation easily does.
with you on this! I can’t stand the skin 1004 sunscreen simply because I have to pump like 7 times and hold it weirdly, but the formula is the best
Same here. I buy products with pumps or in tubes so I don’t have to worry about this.
Of course I do😊
Spatula sometimes. Freshly washed/dried finger other times. I try not to purchase product in tubs due to the inconvenience of the spatula.
Yes, if it comes with a spatula, I use. If it’s easy to use it too, why not 😊
Yes. I use the spatulas. I also keep all my spatulas in a tin so I will have sone for products that do not provide one.
Never!😂
nope just wash my hands well before digging into my jars
Yes I do use a spatula for moisturizer and cleansing balm and eye cream ❤
Absolutely….I cannot stand having to dig my fingers down into a jar of something.
Yes, I do.This helps me get the right amount of product. Also, to avoid product waste, and help from contaminating the products.
No. I don’t like fuss. I’ve started buying tube and pump products only and have had a much time doing my skincare routine now
I tend to loose the small spatulas so I use a longer one I keep in a cup on the counter…use, whash and, store. If I am tired enough I will likely forgo the spatula and use freshly washed hand(finger). I’ve become kind of anal about crosscontamination after the pandemic.😅
Honestly, I never use a spatula. The spatula is there to serve a purpose, but feel for me it’s extra and I don’t enjoy using it. I do, however, have clean hands when I put my finger into the jar.
I would use one if it came with the product and had a place to put it back w the product.
Yes. And every balm should include one.
Yes, I do use it.
Yes!
