    1. idk if i should try adapalene cause i was using salicylic acid and my dermatologist said it made my rosacea worse which i believe because my skin is always irritated but now i use azelaic acid that he prescribed

  1. For people dealing with rosacea: I have rosacea, and tretinoin has been so good for my skin once I got my rosacea under control!! If you deal with rosacea, you NEED to see a dermatologist. They can help you treat it IMMENSELY better than on your own! This was the case for me, and I鈥檇 like to think I have an above average knowledge of skincare. See a derm, please!!

    1. Really bad rosacea causes bumps, almost like cystic acne. Most rosacea causes patchy redness, flushing, and maybe some peeling.

    2. Yes, the Papulopustular rosacea. I’ve got it, it really messed my self esteem, even more because I’ve had skin with no texture my whole life. Most of the times this e bumps have white heads, looking like acne

  2. Used both retinol and retinoid, as well as Bakuchiol, and they all broke me out (not purging), and made my facial redness and warmth worse. I may have Rosacea, but I also got diabetes type 2 and vitamin D deficiency which has overlapping and similar symptoms so hard to tell. I also got extremely sensitized skin, so nothing works on me, especially actives. Even products meant for my skin type.

  3. I hear you can use this on your neck. I use Retin a on my face every night but the neck is a different story Can anyone confirm

  4. I hate my rosacea soooo badddd and it happened in when I turned 18! I had great skin always without taking care of it but Ive had social anxiety and other problems ever since I was little and I flush very easily when on the spot. I dont know what caused it, maybe it was when I started to drink 馃馃. Just hopped ok metronidazole but Im slowing down because its causing some pimples on my cheek

  5. Idk if I’ve had rosacea, but I have mild pink Irish skin and European rosy cheeks, nose, etc, super red lips

My skin used to be very sensitive, & fragrance still bothers me, but tretino铆n is the first thing to really get my skin to adapt and be less sensitive.

    That combined with HA probably.
I do need to get an IPL for some veins and sun damage though

    1. I’m also loving that I finally wear sunscreen every day. Took ages to find brands that didn’t bother me

  6. YES!! My dermatologist wouldn’t prescribe it to me even though I had been on CeraVe retinol for months without irritation. I have mild to moderate rosacea with bumps and tan skin. So I asked my PCP and she gave me .025 Tretinoin and I’ve had 0 issues. I watched a lot of videos and decided to start with once a week (using CeraVe the rest of the nights) and now I can easily use it 4 times a week without any irritation . I use only the bare minimum, and I always moisturize afterwards. I also use 55 SPF every single day and do a reapply if I’m going to be outside in the sun or if I think I’ve wiped some away or have been sweating a lot. I also wear hats and sunglasses.
Good luck! Retinol and Azaelic Acid (15%) have been a blessing to my skin. I have even time now and no more bumps! Redness has been reduced as well.
