Vanicream lip spf was the best. Sad that they discontinued it. I loved it because I couldn’t feel the taste of spf in the mouth.
I STILL dream about Vanicream lip SPF. I even loved the white cast…it almost threw a touch purple on my skin tone. It was perfection.
My newest favorite is the Prequel SPF lip balm. In Rose Dust and Clear. Thank you for these!

Hi Dr Dray I use the Ultrasun lip SPF 50 and have for years – I buy a new one every Summer (clear, colourless and fragrance free). It is water resistant and moisturising btw. I use lip stain and/or lipliner for colour and apply the lip balm as I’m out and about. Best wishes x

Jack Black is what I’ve been using. Comes in several flavors. If you like mild vanilla the Shea Butter is for you.
Just wanted to mention that Erythritol is safe for dogs in small amounts, but large amounts can make them sick, gastrointestinal upset, and vomiting, but is not fatal.
Maybe Dr. was thinking of Xylitol, which is very harmful for dogs, it can be fatal, even in small amounts.

Current favorite is Color science Sun forgettable Total Protection Color Balm. SPF 50 PA++++, and an array of colors. Indicated for lips, cheeks and even eyelids! No bad taste like some of the others. I am using same tube going on 2nd year and use virtually everyday. Is a bit pricey but sales do arise.

I love the regular Banana Boat. Been using it for years. When we travel to the Caribbean I also put it under my eyes and on my lids when swimming. It doesn’t budge.
I’m 61 & my favorites are Neutrogena Hydro Lip Sleep Mask, Tree Hut Lip Butter, & The Naked Bee Orange Blossom Honey Lip Balm. All below 10 dollars & I use these at bedtime too & they last all night. 😉
