How does it make it dull faster??
The humidity in the bathroom is so high
yeah, i learned that by experience, especially if the shower/bathroom is humid and doesn’t have good ventilation. razor lasts longer in dry environment
You can leave it in the shower but it will last longer if kept out of the water stream.

Dr dray, off topic but I watch “the hair loss show” on YouTube and they mention that it is beneficial to take a break from finasteride for several weeks at around every 6-8 months to reduce buildup in the body. They never mention how much of a break one can take on .5 of duetasteride. One month? Two? The half life is about 5 weeks.. what is the sweet spot break to take from it to clear out excess levels of the drug but not loose ground on hair loss.

My husband leaves his razor in the shower for more than 10 years. Never had any of these side effects you’re describing.

I soak mine in alcohol after every use. then dry completely bf putting away.
but i hang it up and my shower drys quickly. if i go back in 5 minutes later the shower and my razor are both dry so how is this dulling my razor i don’t get it..how long should a razor last because i think mine last quite a long time and never had any of these issues in 30 plus years i been shaving

Dr Dray, I think it would be cool if you talked about safety razors being a more affordable and hygienic option in the long term instead of using disposable razors. It’s also more sustainable for the environment.
The blades rust quickly causing skin irritation
I hang it on a hook outside the stream of water. Not seeing how leaving it there would be an issue with its sharpness.
No wonder my skin hates razors. Electric shaver has ending up working better and being more cost effective anyways
