  1. Definitely unpack! And, when we’ve moved to another house, I have to get my kitchen cleaned, dishes, pots & pans, etc., all put away and in order. I can’t go to bed until my kitchen is completely done. Thanks for taking us along on the trip to NYC! Happy Sunday everyone.

  2. yes, i have to unpack after a trip. i don’t feel like i’m home with my stuff in my suitcase.

  3. I grew up eating grapefruit the way you described. We had a grapefruit knife that is used to go around each section to cut the fibers. My mom was more of a healthy sort so we did not put sugar on top. It wasn’t until later we got the grapefruit spoons

  4. I love grapefruit too! I grew up eating it with a spoon. You can buy grapefruit spoons that have serrated edges, but I go through with a knife and cut along the triangular edges to get the fruit out. Your way actually makes more sense!

  5. I think it’s a given that when i return back home from a travel i quickly unpack my suitcase and start laundry 😊 even if i hadn’t wear them all i think that they are dirty and need refreshing 😅. Of course showering after unpacking is a must in order to completely release all that travel built up energy ❤. Thanks for showing us doctor Andrea.

    1. I second that. I unpack everything and basically wash everything that might be one or two things that if unworn I’m OK not washing.

    2. @Liz-in8lu  That’s cool as well but you know everything is in our heads 😅 so sometimes it’s somewhat impossible to let it go and do a more simple version of things.

  6. I slice ruby red grapefruit in half and then use a small knife to cut around the edges and down, loosening it from the pith. Then I slice in between the pieces to free them from the membrane. I sprinkle the halves with some brown sugar and then put ithem under the broiler for a couple of minutes. I use grapefruit spoons that have a bit of serration on the ends to help scoop out the pieces. It is a bit of work but it is divine and worth the extra effort.

  7. Loved the makeup. Thank you for taking us with you 🩷

You need a grapefruit knife and/or a grapefruit spoon. The knife is serrated and has a curve. If you cut skillfully, an ordinary spoon will do ❤

  8. Your makeup looked really pretty! Peach is good on you and your eyes looked softer and younger.

  9. Grapefruit requires a special citrus knife to cut the sections, then a special grapefruit spoon with a serated edge to remove the section from the fruit. My dad used to work for Sunkist so I grew up with this.

    1. It is easy with the special curved knife and grapefruit spoon! Delicious and no pith. Then I squeeze the rest of the juice into the bowl and drink that

  10. Your hair looks really cute. I lived in NYC and grew up in New Jersey. I moved out of the NYC area to another state north of Texas and am going to move again. I will probably move to Texas or Arizona. Scottsdale, Arizona has a very good reputation. So EltaMD has a very wealthy clientele. If their products were not very good they won’t be in Scottsdale. Love you, Dr Dray

  11. I love your travel vlogs! I have been missing them a bit, I admit— I love seeing your accommodations and how you appraise them, love seeing your cute “going out” outfits, and love hearing about your airport endeavors. Thanks for the vlog <3
