I use my upf umbrella/parasol every time I’m out since I don’t have a car & have to walk everywhere in Florida. I’ve noticed more and more walkers are taking up the umbrella protection which is nice to see. If course I still use my sunscreen. Loving the Black Girl kids sunscreen lately. I don’t like the sun. I recently was diagnosed with hyperthyroidism. I have eye pain and sensitivity to light real bad. I’m slowly changing what I want on my windows mainly in my sunroom, bedroom, and living room. I need my car windows tinted too. It literally hurts so bad with light. 😭
Hello my friends to include you Dr Dre! Oh fun we’re going to do Christmas lights displays! I want to say to all of the Floridians that I hope you are doing okay following hurricane Nicole. You know that all of your hurricanes come our direction as well but we did fairly well although I did sleep through a tornado warning. Glad I didn’t wake up and find myself with the Wizard of Oz! Got to add a little humor to this stuff because I know it’s been rough for you guys lately. We did a little bit better than with hurricane Ian, actually I would say a lot better no down the trees this time and very few power outages. Guys be safe!😊 this video will certainly cheer us up!😊
I always put my retinol, vitamin c, etc, on the back of my left hand and one day I happened to notice how much different it looked from my right hand. The brown spots were much lighter and the skin looked tighter. Now I intentionally put those things on both hands after I apply to my face. I was amazed to see that all that stuff was really working and how well it worked.
I work from home but I still use sunscreen everyday..it’s a habit now and I’m so happy 😊 my skin is so much better, less pigmentation and it has an overall brightness. My favorite is the black girl kids sunscreen and a Japanese sunscreen from biore. However, my real obsession is hand cream lol I have tried every hand cream it seems like lol
What’re your favorite hand creams? I still like cerave cream, vanicream or o’keefes for hands. Vaseline jelly cream is great but a little greasy

A big reason I have come to prefer Cerave moisturizing cream over Cetaphil moisturizing cream is because the latter can attract dust more than the former. It is also why I like Avene Trixera nutrifluide slightly better than La Roche Posay Lipikar AP+ Balm, and I like these two significantly better than Bioderma Atoderm Intensive Baume.
I’ve been using sunscreen every day, since you talked about how the rays do come through window glass. I live in NV, and have a lot of windows. Love your tree with the candy cane rope lights added ! Good advice for using hand cream. The place where us girls show our age, early on, along with our neck area. Have a nice weekend ! ☺️💜☺️

I absolutely love the O’Keefe’s Lip repair lip balm (unscented). Many lip protectant products break my lips out, like in “cold sores”, probably because they were flavored, so a pharmacist actually not only told me he uses the O’Keefe Lip Repair himself, but highly recommended this lip product since we live in such a cold climate and it does prevent any chapped lips!
Hairdresser hair, can confirm my hands are a mess. But I took your recommendation and got the extra strength Eucerin cream and I have also been wearing gloves whenever I do house work as well as shampooing my clients and it’s made a huge difference. I think I’ll make it through this winter without getting cracked and bleeding cuticles. Thank you for the advice!

I was at Big Lots soon as they put out the Christmas. Waiting for the big stuff to go on sale but picked up a snowflake bathroom set for $25. Shower curtain, soap dispenser, hand towels, and bath mat!
That sounds cute, something that I would be tempted to buy (if I needed a shower curtain).

I use the O’keefe’s plain lip balm. It is the best hands down. I only have to reapply once or twice a day. And it stays overnight too. I wake up in a.m. with a decent layer still in my lips.

I’ve just done a complete re-organisation of my bathroom. I needed to have an empty cupboard under the sink ready for my sister when she comes to stay. It was previously ‘organised’ chaos, but would to be overwhelming for anyone else. I did tell her that she wouldn’t need to bring any hair, skin, body care or beauty appliances because I have “everything”!
I now have some narrow rectangular stackable white plastic boxes behind the door dividing up my various back-up products. It is much better now and I feel quite proud of myself.
Now to tackle my bedroom (to make an empty clothes rail and drawers for my sister’s clothing) and then free-up space in my spare room so that I can sleep in there for a couple of weeks.
Then I can finally set up my Christmas tree.
