The toilet paper roll extenders don’t make the roll holders longer, it gives them a pivot so that the fatter rolls can stick out a bit and actually roll even if they don’t fit fully in the wall holder. I had the exact same issue with the same type of inset toilet paper wall mount. They work and are designed for exactly your problem.
Silica (“crystal”) cat litter has been an absolute game changer for the dampness in certain areas in our home. You can make little sachets and put it under the sinks or behind the toilet- you can even put your phone in it if it gets wet. It’s amazing. Every home should have a bag.
Yeah that’s what they say raw rice does but I’m going to keep this in mind too, it’s worth a try . Those damprid kits are expensive and absorb water so fast and then you need a new one

Regarding Vornado fans: can confirm they’re awesome!
Awhile ago, I got a big one on a stand. It’s way more powerful than any other fans I have or had, and yet it is quieter! Love it. It has improved my life since there’s no A/C where I’m at. But the power of the Vornado really, really moves the air through the whole apartment giving me relief even on the hottest days.
I’m right there with you on scented bathroom garbage bags! I bought them once, pulled one out and recycled the whole box.
I love that fan too! It’s loud but it’s so much better than a regular fan in that it moves the air around but doesn’t annoyingly buffet. It just feels like a breeze.

I agree w/you about long hair. I’ve worn mine long the majority of my life & always will. I find it much easier than short hair. I love to wear mine up. I have a variety of clips, hair sticks, French hair prongs.
