  1. As a child I remember my mom & Aunt use to drive w gloves on in summer to protect tops hands in Phx, Az summers R 🔥love the jim carrey grin😂

  2. My problem is I wash my hands so frequently that nothing is going to last on my skin there. I can’t stand the way lotion feels on my hands either, so I can’t sleep with it on. I’ve just accepted that my hands are going to age poorly lol

    1. Yes, I am the same way! Even worse is trying to sleep with gloves on over the lotion to help with dry cracked skin in the winter. So I very rarely put anything on. My hands look bad, but hey that’s better than not being able to sleep

    2. The thing is that I go to work everyday and it’s require to wash hands everytime when you start working. So I quickly wash my hands for a few seconds for not getting my skin too dry than it already is.

    3. @Sarah Not at all! If you apply correctly it sinks in within 5 mins, you can use it on eczema even, it basically bonds with the outer layer of your skin and shields it from the elements for hours, even through washing. My hands used to get so dry they would bleed, but with this, and a few others (like using hypochlorous acid sanitizers/cleaners instead of alcohol based ones) my hands are feeling and looking pretty damn good! Well as good as hands can look 🤗 LoL

  3. This kind of fills me with bitterness. I went to so many dermatologists when I was a teenager and if just one of them had taken 5 or 10 minutes to explain some skin care basics about cleansing and sunscreen it would’ve been such a help! I wish I’d had access to Dr Dray’s knowledge earlier ♥️

  4. Remember when ladies wore a hat and gloves, I think that is becoming the norm again. Except we add sunscreen now 🤗

  5. I started putting my skincare products on the backs of my hands and they’ve never been softer! Retinol has also done wonders for my elbows lol

    1. same I used to think I had such nasty looking hands but ever since I started just putting my extra skincare and spf on them I’ve gotten so many compliments

  6. Hi Dr. Drey
Would you please tell me how to smooth out eyelid loose and little wrinkly skin. Can we use Retin A on that area?

  7. Is there such a thing as using too much lotion on your hands over time? I was told that using moisturizers regularly will ultimately make your skin dependent on it.

  8. I’m 32. I started actually taking care of my skin about 2 years ago, and wow, I’m glad I’ve got YouTube. I see so many people saying they never had this information when they were younger. At night, I rub the extra skincare from my palms into the backs of my hands. I was doing that with sunscreen too, but I always have to wash my hands after applying sunscreen to my face so my breakfast doesn’t have sunscreen in it! Thanks for the reminder about the sides of my neck.

  9. I hear about regretting not using sunscreen but if you look at timeliness, back in the day they sold spf 10. So you had no chance anyway.

  10. The hands are really hard for me because as a massage therapist I constantly have to wash and dab them with oil several times a day . The good news is that it keeps them lubricated at least but makes sunscreen unrealistic in that context .

  11. I have got to say my hand and arm skin are really soft due to taking care of it 😌 I moisturize in the morning and night with an antioxidant rich moisturizer, normal moisturizer wasn’t enough for me I was wanting some results so I thought antioxidants / retinal would fulfill that,
I was sooo right 😍 the hand cream I use is only $20nzd too
