Salicylic Acid is a superstar ingredient along with Niacinamide. Definitely two of the best actives out there
I used salicylic acid for years and still had awful skin. Now, I’m realizing it was probably all of the “natural fragrances” and “organic botanical extracts” that were so irritating.
My skin still sucks but benzoyl peroxide, clyndamiacin, tretinoin, and unscented drug store products are helping a ton.

Your makeup is so pretty! Is it true that if you’re allergic to aspirin you shouldn’t use salicylic acid?
Been using salicylic acid with niacinamide for 2 years and the occasional acne I get doesn’t leave marks. But when I stopped using SA once I noticed acne left PIH.
I just use a clean and clear acne spot treatment all to my face i see massive improvements on my hyperpigmentation

No, it is not. Aspirin is acetylsalicylic acid which isn’t the same salicilic acid.
