  1. Hi, doc what do you think of IPL for Rosacea? I’m scheduled for January in the new year but I’m nervous of making something worse. I used to have skin just like yours, in fact my coloring is almost exactly like yours, except with mild rosacea😢 started suddenly after miscarriage 5 yrs ago, Rosacea and Dermagraphism. Been trying to get to the root cause with zero success

    1. Ty , I want to start adapaline, for Collagen purposes, I know I’m going to need a good moisturizer

  2. Dr Dray, you look like a movie star✨stunning, beautiful- inside and out
Thanks for being you! Happy holidays🌷☃️❤️

  3. I just ordered the ordinary buffet copper peptides the blue one lol. Can I use it in my nighttime routine? Because I use retinol at night

    1. @d b WOW!! I’ve been doing it, mixing Vitamin C with copper peptides every morning, am I canceling something out?

    2. @walking by faith Not much information at the moment, but it is believed that most peptides degradate in acidic environments – thus many cosmetologists and dermatologists recommend not combining them with acids (including vitamin C).

    3. @walking by faith There’s no way to know for sure because it’s likely the two products you’re using having been tested together. Most often the warnings about copper peptides aren’t evidence-based, but neither are many of its claims lol. The caution about vitamin C used alongside other products is usually to avoid irritation which is common with traditional low pH L-ascorbic acid serums. The other concern is destabilizing the peptide structure holding the copper in place bc free copper can cause free radical damage, but luckily copper tripeptide-1 has been tested in very acidic conditions (will never be mimicked on your skin) and was shown to be surprisingly very stable. There was even a rodent study that looked at copper tripeptide-1 mixed with ascorbic acid which unexpectedly found the combo had an anti-cancer effect. Overall, I’m not convinced there’s anything you can’t mix with copper peptides (maybe benzoyl peroxide, but still not sure). The other good news is that copper peptides seem to work in extremely small amounts, so you don’t need to load your face up with it. It does seem to help skin heal, so if anything it could help counteract irritation or barrier damage caused by powerful actives. If copper peptides still make you feel cautious, niacinamide pretty much does the same thing. :D

    4. I seen other dermatologist talk about mixing copper peptides and retinol and they say that it’s fine. The only thing they don’t recommend is mixing it with vitamin c. I’ve been really really looking into this because my daytime skincare routine I don’t mind changing a little like swapping out the vitamin c for a while to see if I like this product. The only thing that’s my holy grail at night in my skin care routine is my retinol of course with my other products. That’s the only problem I have. The vitamin c I can swap out but not the retinol lol

  4. Dr. Dray,
Please do publish research proving that peptides help.
    Sincerely,
A Girl Who Is Obsessed With Inkey List’s “Peptide Moisturizer.”

  5. Love the red Dr Dray. Question I bed. UsingNeutrogena hydr boost during day followed with Color Science and at night was using Cereve night cream alternating with Neutrogena rapid repair had no problems then added a new product rapid tone repair and Neutrogena Peptide Contour and lift and tried Retinol Pro plus by Neutrogena now I have irritation under my eyes deep lines dry and red. Any suggestions on what to stop what to use and when.. Thank you I’m 59.

  6. Interesting, I use the ordinary buffet and copper peptides and it says to don’t use it with retinol/tretinon… so I alternate days

  7. The Purito Centella Buffet serum (with peptides) has become my holy grail serum. Both scented and unscented are great since I’m not that reactive to fragrance.. Also using tretinoin and i find that the Purito has helped my skin a lot..💞

  8. You’re rocking that festive look dear Dr, you look fab!! Have a lovely Christmas and thanks for all you do for our skin x

  9. Re: copper peptides: Results or placebo, I noticed something or other, but the papers’ abstracts match that uncertainty between result and placebo.
