  1. Awesome video, I have an appointment tomorrow to start discussion on taking these meds. I’m perimenopause and have gained almost 30lbs in last 1 1/2 yrs. This video has aided me with questions to take in because I’m just now looking into medication to help. My diet and exercise isn’t cutting it anymore.😢

  2. I really appreciated her no-nonsense approach here, and not a coddling, baby-gloves kind of way. Like yes! We can call certain foods bad guys, it’s okay. The reality is America has a portion size problem, a sedentary lifestyle problem, and a processed food/sugar problem. Like she said, we eat a lot of crap in this country; some of it is the food industry’s fault, and some of it is ours.

  3. I loooove the choice of topics for this podcast ❤️ I genuinely look forward to watching it every week 😊

  4. I desperately want to know what it is like to not think about food all the time 24/7 and revolve my life around it.

I want to enjoy food in the moment, I don’t want it to be my only joy.

    1. I feel this comment in my whole soul, this is my life. I started semaglutide a week ago. I am praying it is as miraculous as everyone says it is.

  5. Loved this so much! I already love nutrition information but hearing an expert talk about it is always so inspiring and helpful for me. I sent it to my friend too because I know her mom just started one of the weight loss medicines and has heart issues so I think it’ll make her feel relieved hearing it sounds like it really is Great for that.

  6. I started a GLP1 med last September. I’m not medically obese but have been struggling to lose weight for a few years, found out I have hypothyroidism(I’m on meds for this), prediabetic, and menopausal 😢. The weight loss has actually been slow on GLP1, my doctor has increased my dosage slowly. I am trying to focus on protein and I’ve need working with a trainer weight lifting 4 days a week since August 2024. I feel so much better, and although I’d love to lose the weight faster I’m really hoping that this will help me to build better habits in general.

  7. Love the video! Could we have a Registered Dietitian as well? I am a Sports Dietitian and would love to have experts in our field talk about nutrition.

  8. As a sleep and circadian scientist I am so happy to see someone advocating for not eating late in the day. What people do not know is that intermittent fasting works almost as well if it is just 12/12. I try not to eat 7-7 and it makes a huge difference. When you eat matters as much as how much

  9. This is so helpful – thinking about the composition of what we eat, the timing of it – all of this makes so much sense and has great actionable advice 💕
