As a dark skin Esthetician I prefer mechanical exfoliation over chemical. I never get why the online influencer skincare community always knocked mechanical exfoliation. I don’t get hyperpigmentation with mechanical. It’s safe to me
Thank you for sharing this. Yes, we’ve come a long way since apricot scrubs that feel like shards of glass which my first unfortunate experience. I actually love that now mechanical exfoliation doesn’t clash with other products or possibly cause inflammation!

I’ve struggled with acne for years and all this noise out there made me insecure when I was younger simply because you could never know someone’s reasons for promoting one thing or the other. Such a lovely looking routine! I’ve noticed that as I’ve gotten older, I tolerate acid exfoliation less so that manual exfoliation pen sounds really interesting and looks gratifying!
manual exfoliation has fully evolved and just makes a lot of sense to me right now!

Reaching out to the audience here. What have been your experiences with the medicube device? I read conflicting reviews. Main concern is that these devices suddenly stop working or overheat, AND vendors do not respond /do not refund. Happened to me with the mini NuFace device which just suddenly died on me after a few months!
