Dermatology should be covered better by insurance! Happy Wednesday 💜💜💜
Happy Wed ! enjoy
Happy Wednesday!
When I first started working and got my insurance, I could see the derm once a year and be covered. Now, it’s strictly considered cosmetic and has to come out of pocket. Though it’s possible I could upgrade my plan but don’t know if that’s in my budget.
💯
@@db-gb5xi What about your annual skin care check for cancer? It seems that it depends on the doctor’s coding that should determine if something’s cosmetic. If I were in charge . . . 😊
Happy Wednesday Dr Dray and everyone . Another wonderful vidoe . Have a fabulous day . Love to mom and Tybee xoxoxo
Happy Wednesday!

Hi Mary Ann! Happy Wednesday!! I hope your week is going well, my friend. 💚
My skin has improved 75% since you explained how Retin A creme is applied! THANK YOU! (I am 69 y/o with super young skin)
thanks for watching
🙏🙏 Good ngt.
Good for you!
I could not find the video where she explained how Retin A creme is applied.
I got acne from multivitamin and iron supplements. It went away two weeks after I quit all the supplements except for Vitamin D.
Ive been watching for a really long time and i promise to stay tuned for all videos! ❤
thanks for watching
We need a doctor’s prescription to get an appointment! We don’t have to pay, but the delays are long. We have private dermatology clinics, but the costs are very high!Happy Wednesday!
There are several online derms that you zoom, but I don’t know what the cost is.
Following WHO guidelines for heatlhy eating and exercise is helping my skin so much, seriously
it can really make a difference
Simple and straightforward tips by a board certified dermatologist 😊. It is in these simple tips that cover the majority of our everyday life routine. I mean yes we all tried picking our skin sometime one way or another 😅 or even used external instruments causing even further disturbance to the skin barrier. These instruments should be used be professionals and certified individuals, specialists of the medical field. Even the everyday shower is a thing too much product volume can cause issues. Thanks a lots for the tips Doctor Andrea keep things basic is key and “doing nothing” is also a big thing and not nothing at all (as you said not all but most cases resolve by their own so it’s a win-win situation😊❤).
“Doing nothing is doing something.” ❤️
The other day, she said that using soap on our arms and legs is too drying. (I guess unless there is actual dirt.) I’m still shocked. 😅
@@PAMELAPORTER-ci7mr A Dr said the same thing, to me. He said you only need soap if you are washing dirt off your skin. Otherwise he said your washing the nature oils out your skin, drying it out (then you have to moisturize) it’s a vicious cycle. The say clean the Face, Under Arms, Crutch. If you think about it when you shampoo your hair and rinse, the shampoo runs down over your body, then on top of that you grab the soap and lather up causing more skin issues.😁
This was so extremely helpful..Thanks a bunch !!!!!
Wow. Such a great video. You are a gift. It’s SO hard to not mess with our skin. I have the scars to prove it. 😳😝I’m going to take this free advice seriously. Thank you!
This is such a knowledgeable video. Thanks so much Dr Dray.
I would also add that you shouldn’t assume it is the same problem as the last time you had an issue. You change, your environment and exposure changes as well.
This was so helpful thank you!
I went all in with anti dandruff products on my face, and ended up with a lot of irritation. Then I tried using the itch relief cerave, but that seemed to make it even worse. I stopped it all, and followed your advice to pare way back to the basics, which helped so much. Uncomfortable skin is miserable.
Your videos on skin barrier impairment and skin care reset were very life changing for me. I stripped my skin care routine back to the basics, stopped picking at the minor blemishes that were only visible in my 10X magnification mirror and am now incorporating Adapalene 0.3% into my evening routine. Next step, eliminate the magnification mirror from my life. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
Minimizing products I use on my face, and in my hair, improves my acne. Thanks for the great advice as always!
Great information, Dr Dray! Thanks so much. Happy Wednesday! Hope you have a relaxing evening. ❤
I had to go to just water and a very mild moisturizer…it cleared me right up and turned out I’m sensitive to specific ingredients (I had to do trial and error a little to figure it out). Now I avoid those things and I’m good but still have sensitive skin.
Thank you Dr Dray it’s been 3 mths without picking in the magnified mirror. My skin on my face has improved. I have ROSACEA. No more flaky/bumpy/pustules/itchy skin. I’ve watched allot of your Vids it finally sunk in. ( I kept on repeating this affirmation to myself daily: DO NOT PICK you skin it will get better). It only took 40yrs to stop.
I use a small amount of SELSUN GOLD Anti Dandruff Shampoo as a daily cleanser & UNGIVITA Ointment (Active Ingredients: 1800 IU retinyl plamitate (Vitamin A) Each gram contains 1800 IU retinyl palmitate (Vitamin A) & contains cod liver oil & a petroleum jelly base.
