  1. I do a 30ml of distilled water,
30ml of rose water to a tablespoon of glycerin and spray it on my face a few times a day.
    It’s wonderful.

  2. I use 1-3 drops of 100% glycerin on soaking wet face right after a shower— and then slather on a small amount of zinc oxide petrolatum ointment right away. The improvement in my skin from doing this is beyond crazy and strangers have been noticing. I’m not sure why it’s working so much better than moisturizers that have glycerin in them, but it’s very cheap so I’m not complaining.

Bonus, it immediately clears up any itchy dry skin for me during the winter.

    1. Hey quick question , how do you deal with the stickiness that comes with glycerin or do u use it only at night? Thanks !

    2. @s@samruthak-e2d Using glycerin the way OP does is basically like applying a serum, so you’re not going to get much stickiness, and if there is, it’ll be further reduced by whatever cream you put on top, especially if it’s an occlusive one. I do something similar, but with hyaluronic acid and find the stickiness is actually beneficial in helping the skin to stay hydrated through the night. By the time you wake up, everything is absorbed and you’re left with soft skin. The key is to find your perfect ratio of humectant to occlusive.

  3. i used to work in a wallpaper factory and got lots of paper cuts. The other ladies told me to us Walgreens Healing Hand Lotion that contained glycerin and ammonia. I kid you not. Can’t find it anymore but it would burn my paper cuts like crazy when I used it but it did help heal my hands quicker and the glycerine left them soft. Just had to hold my breath when I put it on my hands.

  4. To add to the caution – When it’s time to refill that dispenser, wash it out really well. Don’t just top it up.

    1. Learn to disinfect glass containers with boiling water. Cheap cleaners like washing up liquid and white vinegar combined in boiling water are great

Or use isopropyl alcohol, avoid using boiling water on the plastic pump or lid

Make sure it’s bone dry before refilling

And search whether this advice is safe as I’m not a professional but this is what I do

    2. I’m so lazy, I stopped pouring it into a dispenser and now just put it on my damp hands and then put it on my damp face and/or body.
      Great product!

  5. With my sensitive, uber-dry skin, living in a semi-arid climate, I’ve never had an issue with glycerin making my skin worse. I generally use a rosewater glycerin blend as soon as I finish bathing, then load up on a reliable body cream to seal it all in.

  6. I’ve been telling my subscribers this since 2024 on my channel!! The ones who have tried it haven’t looked back since! Glycerin is THE hack!!! I’m glad to see this video ❤️❤️❤️

  7. It’s the one thing that got rid of my horrible, callused, dark elbows. A bit between my palms, slather it all over my arms after the shower.

    1. What kind of glycerin how do you purchase it? Is it just at the drugstore? I know maybe I sound a little silly but.. I’m trying to figure things out and I’m a little bit lost.. I also have elbows that I really do not like anything would help. Is it good for hands, elbows feet?… any tips would be wonderful XO.❤

    2. @BrittfoxxI got my glycerin from Amazon. Really inexpensive. I use a glass foot file on my feet every day after showering and then I use a cream with urea and salicylic acid on my feet before putting my socks on. That cream gently exfoliates little by little, so you don’t have to take a power tool to your feet. I also got the cream and file on Amazon. I use Burt’s Bees balm on my hands and you can get your nails and cuticles in great shape if you rub a bit of castor oil on them every night. I mix mine with frankincense oil, so it smells nice!

  8. Glycerin makes my skin look crazy good. It’s the only thing I’ve ever tried that has dramatic, next day results for me. And it seems to work even if I use it as a mask before the shower and wash off the stickiness after 30 min.

I just wish there were more formulations with a high percentage so it was easier to incorporate into my routine

    1. It’s sooooo sticky though. I’ve noted that many of the serums available at Dollar Tree have glycerin as the second ingredient. They might be a good idea. But for me personally, I can’t take the stickiness.
