The La Roche-Posay Hyalu B5 Eye Serum has some solid hydrating ingredients and a pleasant cooling sensation, but the runny formula, tacky finish and potential for eye irritation make it a less reliable option. The price is also on the higher side for what you get. I personally get better results from the La Roche-Posay Cicaplast Gel, which delivers smoother hydration, better texture and a more comfortable wear around the eyes.

I’ve tried using the Cicaplast Gel around the eyes like you recommended and it made my eyes hurt. Pain, like there was pressure on my eyes. I do have very sensitive eyes.
Comparing the ingredients of the UK version to the USA version, the ingredients are a bit different. Do you think the UK version would be ok round the eyes? Are the ingredients as good for this purpose? Thanks

Just bought my staple Cicaplast B5 gel with my CVS 40% coupon and only paid $14–love it around my eyes!
I have been applying the cicoplast gel under my eyes since you mentioned it, and that along with applying my Tretinoin, and a bit if vanicream on top has done wonders for my 50 year-old under eyes. 😊

I absolutely love the Cicaplast Gel B5 for my eyes. I have used many caffeine serums, including the Loreal Revitalift serum with the cooling applicator. My eye area does not respond well to them. The Cicaplast Gel has been a gamechanger. 😊 Thank You!
I WILL NOT buy Loreal products. They tested on animals for years and REFUSED to stop. I HATE them.
They and Proctor and Gamble are evil.
