  1. Had what I suspect was an allergic reaction doing this with toothpaste in hs. I blame cosmopolitan and teen vogue for this tip (where I read it) and hope teens today access all of the info at their fingertips we lacked

  4. When I was a teen I had a pimple on my nose and I applied toothpaste to it overnight. It burned a hole through the top layer or two of skin. Never did it again.

    1. @comment3711, a recurring pimple-like bump or “recurring whitehead” might indicate hidradenitis suppurativa (HS)…IMHO, check with an MD, as an antibiotic may need to be prescribed. Dr. Dray has mentioned HS in some videos, and there are other videos on YouTube as well.

Definitely had tried it on those raging red swells I had as teen, ๐Ÿ˜ฎโ€๐Ÿ’จ it never worked I had no idea why my friends kept doing it, especially when their pimples began to make their skin look like a peeling onion ๐Ÿ˜ฌ. They swore up amd down that they went away faster with baking soda ๐Ÿ™ƒ

  7. Someone once told me that they all did that in boot camp for the navy and I tried it but I donโ€™t remember if it worked ๐Ÿ˜‚

  8. Guilty, did this when younger. Can you do a video on telogen effluvium? I have hair loss and have tried everything
