Yeah, I use the unscented dove beauty bar for underarms, feet, and privates and water and sudsy runoff handles the rest. My skin is almost never dry and I rarely use body moisturizer. It’s fine.
I did this for a while as a kid and I’d get dirt/skin cell residue on my towels after rubbing my arms and legs dry. Never skipped cleanser on my arms and legs after realising why my towels/bath robes kept getting dirty. I don’t get dirt residue on my towels anymore.
Live in a world nowadays that people think that they need to wash themselves like three times a day. I most the time just stick to washing my body once a day if I wash my body more than once a day it gets very, very dry and itchy.

Also people think they need like scrubs body washes all these sort of things to like clean your body. It’s like no you don’t need all that you’re just drying out your skin.
Ngl I use multiple cleansers but they all do different things. I use a face wash, regular body wash, feminine wash, and a kojic acid soap for particular areas. (It’s also worth noting that I’m a janitor. I’m exposed to a lot of dirt, grime, and chemicals. I need to make sure I clean myself top to bottom or risk an allergic reaction to anything left over on my skin. But even then, I use only ONE body wash, not three lol)
That’s different because you’re using them in different locations, that’s normal. These people are putting three different body waves on their arms, legs, back, whatever. Like just washing the same areas three times with different products. That’s ridiculous
When I was a teen my dermatologist told me to use Dove soap I have been using just that with an exfoliating towel for 20 years. I also lotion my entire body after I dry off and I have beautiful, youthful skin. I even wash my face with it when my skin is really feeling sensitive from actives. These gen z kids are doing way too much.
@@Cocomel444 I used the dove bar on my face for decades. I finally started paying attention to my skin in the past year or so and have played around with a lot of new products, including cleansers. Nothing wrong with any of the new ones, some are really nice, but I’m going to finish the cleansers I have left and go back to the simplicity of the dove bar. Bonus: less waste.
@@LCL1979 Yeah if the year in your username indicates your age then we’re the same age! It took me years to realize I didn’t need much for my skin. I use to have like a 12 step nighttime skin care routine before the pandemic. Somewhere along the way I started using Dove sensitive body wash and was floored when it calmed my skin. I have super sensitive skin so less is more for me.
My dad’s dove bar soap made my hands flaky when I ran out of my liquid hand wash. Going back to my regular wash made my hands softer again and resolved the issue.
Hence, I’ve committed keep to using SLES and other “newer” surfactants over bar soaps (including dove) and high pH liquid cleansers. Seems my skin is too sensitive for those, though I remember being okay with them as a kid (until we moved and soaps kept resulting in soap scum residue on the skin, tub, and sink)
Dude. I hate showers. LOVE the way i feel after, but im always liek UGHHHH. WHY DONT HAVE THE JETSONS AUTOMATIC SHOWER?? It even dresses you up for the day and you leave steaming fresh…
YES! The voice of reason! 🙌🏻🫶🏻
Your reaction is priceless….
I was sure we were going to see Doc fly away, the way she was blinking in disbelief…ppl are doing the most…to their skin’s detriment.😕
These people are just too much.
Uhhhhh…..At a point, they’re just literally throwing their money down the drain.

That’s nasty as hell! You wash only certain parts and let the suds run off to “handle the rest”. Nasty!
@ it’s really not. Calm down.
@@ThePresentTimeNowwatch the actual video dude. The dr said water is all you really need.

Extremely wasteful 🤦🏾♀️
Who has the time or the space for 3 body washes? 😅

3 body washes?, that’s insane. i’m a bar soap person myself. thank you Dr. Dray!

I use Dove sensitive body wash on my face and body too and have great results. It’s not everyday I hear people using it on their face though.

What happened to soap? It has been fairly effective for quite a while…😅
they turn every basic life thing into a routine by adding new unecessary steps to make “interesting” routine videos.

So, 3 body washes? Pft! Nope!
Yes!! I tell my husband that all the time. I hate physically showering but I love being clean, it’s 2025 though, why don’t we have walk in showers?? 😩
yup I hate washing my hair, but love it clean.
The lie is coming from within the house 😂😂😂😂😂
I have 2 but they’re an exfoliating one to use on acne-prone areas and a hydrating one for all other areas. Each body part gets washed once.
I have 3 body washes, but it’s all about mood. Rose for relax, watermelon for uplift, banana for fun.
