I skipped exfoliating for a long time because I hated physical exfoliation. It hurt and caused major redness but once I found what chemical exfoliation was 🙌, so much better for sure.
I’ve used St. Ives for years since viewed a TV show talking about best things to do to keep skin looking younger. She said “exfoliate” is the answer. I’ve always had younger looking skin for my age, so I’ve been told. I follow many people on YouTube. I’ve implemented many potions/lotions/makeup as per people I trust on YouTube. So much great information out there now. Dr Dray is very knowledgeable and shares important information that people who care about their skin/health really appreciate. 😊
I’ve done both types over the years and recently have come back to physical exfoliants. I find it easier to control the intensity depending on how much pressure I apply. With chemical exfoliation I’m never sure how it will affect my skin. Sometimes it works perfectly and other times I end up with my face red and irritated.
Kill me but my skin (not me😅) loves the soft physical exfoliation that a Foreo-esque device provides. Not used daily at all tho. After years using it, I’ m starting to suspect that the sensation of smother surface is a placebo caused by the vibration😅. 🧛🏻♀️🖤
So if I were to go out in the morning Sun say around 7 AM and let it shine on my legs for 10 minutes everyday or close to it, will that be damaging as well? The rest of the day I wear sunscreen spf 50 and avoid the sun for the most part.
Oh! The 90’s was full of St. Ives!
Ah yes, trying to exfoliate the acne off was a favorite back in those days, swiftly followed up with the harshest astringent money could buy.
@@lisabarry410absolutely, I was a noxzema addict. If it didn’t burn, it wasn’t working! So glad I know better now.
@@lisabarry410 Can you smell the camphor from Clinique n°3-4 toner? ☣️. I can just by reading the comments😅🤦🏻♀️…

Chemical exfoliant is my fav ❤️
Love Dr Dray 🙌🥰
Only place I’m physically exfoliating I my feet
What about Papa recipe enzyme powder cleanser? Is this considered as physical exfoliator?
The “enzyme” part makes me think it’s a chemical exfoliation.

It looks like docs hair could be a lot more wavy and defined if she used a curl defining gel
