That’s funny, because mineral sunscreens tend to be the ones that burn my eyes
I don’t know why she does this. Just lie to people with a smile.
Maybe we could try a mineral stick sunscreen. That formulation is more stiff and might stay in place better while it’s setting up. I have sensitive eyes as well and I’ve been trying to find something that won’t burn or make my eyes blurry.

@Fearless maybe some face power/eye make-up base with spf in it to put around the eyes? Most spf creams burn my eyes but my mineral foundation doesn’t
I tried out mineral to avoid the stinging and now have excema rashes around my eyes that won’t go away😢 can’t win. I’m wondering if wearing large sunglasses with sun protection would be good enough because chemicals constantly getting in my eyes and stinging them don’t seem like it would be good long term either
I use Colorscience powder around my eyes because I cannot use liquid sunscreen around them.
I find that applying a mineral spf stick around the eyes with an eyeshadow brush works best
what brand mineral spf stick you use?
@Ayesha Ali Colorescience. Kind of expensive but I believe there are Korean ones that are cheaper so I’ll probably try those next
Found mineral sunscreen sticks work the best around eyes! Especially neutrogena’s kids sunscreen stick! I bought one for everyone in my family. The white cast settles in and is unnoticeable too

I use a baby mineral sunscreen that reads “tear free” for that very reason. Thanks Doc!

for POC skin- baby bum mineral sun stick is moiturizing (coconut oil) and leaves less of a white cast than most mineral sun screans
Unfortunately, even the mineral sunscreens for babies, marked as tear free, sting and irritate my eyes. I wish that I could find a sunscreen that didn’t sting my eyes 😭

YES! I’ve been doing this for a couple of years. Chemical sunscreen for my face and neck, mineral for my eyes.
And I’m here right now cleaning my eye, at the end of the day the sunscreen always burns my eyes. Annoying 😢
My eyelids are so sensitive that I had to stop using sunscreen around my eyes. Both mineral and chemical sunscreens irritate my eyelids. I no longer know what I should do😞
Maybe try a skin tinted concealer and then after the concealer dries, try a sunscreen powder cushion from a K-beauty brand?
maybe apply eyelid primer(for makeup) then apply sunscreen?

When I sweat a lot, the sweat picks up the sunscreen from my forehead and rolls into my eyes! OUCH….IT STINGS!

try removing the sunscreen and re applying. wash your hands and dry. use your hand and pat the sunscreen off your face and wipe on a tissue. Just try and remove around 50 percent, you won’t be able to remove all and then reapply.

I don’t put sunscreen close to my eyes. I wear large sunglasses and a hat when I am outside.
I just wear sunglasses. I’ve given up trying to find a sunscreen that I can apply around my eyes.
Maybe try an spf lip balm, worked wonders for me, it stays in place and doesn’t burn my eyes at all
I used to think the same until I discovered Vichy Capital Soleil Mattifying SPF 50; no stinging around my eyes at all, even after wearing it for the entire day
Love this tip! I also find that if I let the sunscreen on my eyelids set a bit, and then apply an eyeshadow primer (like UD or Milani) on my mobile lid, it creates a barrier so the sunscreen doesn’t seep into my eyes.
