I think that’s totally plausible. Deciding to divorce is not instant. Regardless of love, the cracks grow OVER TIME, a long time. That by the time you pull the trigger….. you’re ready to move on. Naturally if you’re the one being broken up with, perhaps it’s different.
We never get the full picture when a breakup/divorce happens online. Plus you can love people in different ways. My dad for example: I still love him, but I don’t like being around him, lol. I love my friends, but definitely not the way I love my mom. Love isn’t a blanket statement. You can love people and keep them at a distance, or not want to be with them in certain ways, or around them at all.
