Water and soap alone do not kill or remove germs from our hands. The action of rubbing our hands together with soap is the most effective in reducing the spread of germs.
And the water should be comfortably hot! Plus soap, the friction you talk about and washing for a decent amount of time. Did everyone forget what we’ve learned since 2020?
I mean… soap does kill bacteria by denaturing their proteins but it seems that a lot of people don’t wash for the proper 20 seconds to kill off all the bacteria.
