  1. Last night in line at the concert, someone asked me what skin care I use because she could not believe I was 71 and I gave her the channel name 💜💜💜

    1. So, girl! Spill! I am not so many years behind you and am always looking for another skin care secret (even if I think I know it all).

  2. Yes, thank you. I’m really tired of seeing anti-aging ads featuring 20-somethings or seeing anyone under the age 30 give anti-aging advice.

Show me the dames 50+ plz.

  3. I am a new subscriber. I am learning more from you than I have from any medical professional that I have encountered in the last 30 yrs. This 72 yr. old thanks you. Blessings and prayers…

  4. As a dentist…thank you for the recommendation to get a dental check up and discussing gum health. Floss like a boss, friends. It’s a big deal ❤

    1. I floss every single time I eat!! The dentist is always shock that my gums don’t even bleed during cleaning. I’ve always done this.

    2. Teeth health is unfortunately a genetic lottery as well. I floss and brush like a maniac, I see my dentist more often than the majority of my family, but my teeth are still horrible, they have always been. That’s so sad.

    3. How often are we supposed to see a dentist? I go once a year but some people go every 6 months. Is once a year fine?

    4. Trust me, anything but bad teeth and eventual dentures. My mother went down that road. Get up in the middle of the night to floss if you wake up and realize you forgot. GUMS are terribly important!!

  5. She’s literally telling us the truth overall lifestyle ❤❤❤ how can anyone not love this woman seriously

  6. I take care of my health and my skin, but as a senior things naturally change. The wrinkles, the jowls -are wrinkling and sagging. I embrace that. I’m healthy, have lots of energy , and enjoying my life. In fact, life is really good!

    1. Yep! Being single and not having kids means I have hardly any stress and I get my 8 hours of sleep per night. It does wonders for my skin!

  7. People can be mistaken for being younger not only because of the way they act but also the way they dress and apply makeup. I absolutely agree! I love this straight forward, no sugar coated advice on skincare.

  8. Being in the health & fitness business for more than 25 years, this is by far my FAVORITE video you made 👏🏻 preach!!!

  9. People often think that there’s no point to stopping smoking because they’ve done it so long. Skin aside, there absolutely is a point. My mom smoked for 50 years. In the last two months of her life, she couldn’t smoke because she was in the hospital, skilled nursing facility, back in the hospital, and then hospice. Those two months meant that she didn’t have to wear oxygen for the last two weeks of her life.

    Trust me, it matters.

    1. My mother smoked from 1955 until 2022 when she fell, could not get up, and ended up in the hospital then in hospice for COPD with me as her sole caregiver for a year. She was on oxygen and lasix and a pile of other pills, but the COPD was her main condition.

The withdrawal from cigarettes was unreal, but with an oxygen generator sitting right by her bed and me being a total dictator, she made it through overcoming her addiction. At her age and with other complications, she only lived a year under my care but it was a smoke free year.

Weirdest thing was watching TV with her one day and having her comment that cigarettes are gross and she is glad she never smoked (dementia was a factor)…after she pulled the cannula off her face.

Point is, it is NEVER TOO LATE TO IMPROVE HEALTH!!

I gave up aluminum deodorant five years ago and definitely have healthier lymph nodes, and this is despite using aluminum deodorant daily from 1980-2020. Never too late.

  10. At my retirement planning appointment last week, the advisor who is at least half my age, told me that I have great skin on my face. Imagine her surprise when I said I only use drugstore products. Because of your advice I have a lot more money in my savings account for retirement, so THANK YOU for all you do!

  11. Great info. Today is my 73rd birthday. Walk tall, don’t drink, give up sugar (hard one), keep moving, lift weights, smile and be kind….sunscreen and subscribe!

  12. I’m standing Dr Dray. 🤣🤣🤣 You were on a roll today!!😁 Great episode and, as a 71 year old who eats a whole plant-based diet, has been running for almost 47 years and religiously takes care of her teeth, I definitely agree. Wish my younger self had known what I know now, but, that’s life and I am here now.

  13. Thank you !!! I feel so much better now , at 76 . My daughter is a dental hygienist , so she keeps me under the whip with my dental care . I have been using sunscreen ( your recommendations ) regularly , never drank or smoked (both killed my family members ) , so I hope to keep aging ” gracefully ” . Please keep being the voice of reason in this crazy world !!!
