I hate sunburns. I had a lot in the past at every different levels and it is more annoying than anything. It always made me very moody for few days until the feeling of it was practically gone. Feeling it was making me crazy 😫😫
If you’ve gotten multiple sunburns throughout your life you really should be getting a dermatologist to do a skin check on you regularly if you’re not already. Your cancer risk is way up
These kinds of sunburn in 1960s and 1970s when we thought no sunscreen was needed led to small precancerous spots for me in 2010s and 2020s and one squamous cell carcinoma in 2010s (so far). I am grateful nothing worse has happened. I have Irish skin (pale white with freckles) and dark brown hair. The squamous cell carcinoma bordered the top of one eyebrow.

That’s wild
SUNSCREEN before you go in the sun!!!!! ugh. 🥵🤯🙏

I can lay in the sun but definitely can’t fall asleep in it. Not sure how anyone can🤷🏾♀️
Exactly my point! I don’t even go out in summers unless it’s an urgent work🤷♀️
Me too as soon as sun touches my skin I’m looking for shade lol

Aloe Vera gel too!
Yes! And put it in the fridge! Soooo cooling.

Neutrogena does make a soothing cream for burns. Legit works and heals my skin faster. But I’ve not been burned quite like this.
Mind sharing the exact name? 😊

i get so paranoid when i get any sort of sunburn, even if in a minor one :(
Saaaame! Luckily, I haven’t got one for over 15 years because I’ve been supercareful since the last one. I’m not risking my health, that’s for sure.
How do landscapers, farm labor, construction workers, city street and parks and rec employees do it?

Have you ever noticed how much all of these workers you mentioned are constantly covered up? 😂 think on that and you have your answer.
Rice farmers during planting season cover the hell up.
This literally makes my toes curl and my stomach ache looking at this. Pain. Skin damage. Ugh.
I never thanked God so much for my melanin. This is actually so scary 😭 I can’t imagine the paaaiiiinnnnn!
Melanin can be damaging by sunburn too, but it’s less risk .
