  1. No kidding. I hadn’t had an eczema flare-up in well over a year thanks to consistent use of AHAs alternating with Versed retinol body lotion.
I’m traveling and ran out of products, so I used a Banana Boat aloe lotion product I found where we’re staying. Guess who’s got an eczema flare-up? ME!๐Ÿ˜ข

  2. I neither have eczema mor rosacea. But my skin barrier is so weak and all skincare products not suitable for my skin. Dry out my skin. I dont know why.

  3. Try the unholy trinity of eczema, rosacea and seb derm. Every day is an adventure with the skin on my face.

  4. Every drugstore moisturizer Iโ€™ve tried burns/stings my face, breaks me out, or isnโ€™t hydrating enough. Iโ€™ve stuck with CeraVe Daily Moisturizing Lotion. Absorbs nicely, doesnโ€™t clog pores, but doesnโ€™t hydrate as well. Still sticking to it though since it doesnโ€™t break me out!

    1. I started retinol recently and for the first time in my life, I have to deal with ‘sensitive skin’. Holy cow. My sympathies.
I never really appreciated, how ‘uncomplicated’ my skin was till now ๐Ÿ˜ญ

    2. @@raraavis7782 Weirdly retinol doesn’t irritate me that much (it has to be lower concentration), but I started trifarotene for acne that I also have and omg, twice a week? Could deal with it. Three times? Barely but still possible. Four times as my derms thought will be alright? Nope, nope, nope, I still deal with the consequences after good 5 days and I had to stop for the time completely. It’s still red and itchy. No amount of diaper rash cream or ceramide cream helps and I get allergic reaction to most eczema treatments.. Fortunately I’m going to hospital on Monday, derm ward, for some testing and maybe they’ll figure something out if it won’t stop on it’s own.

  5. The less prouduct I use on my skin the better! Because even sunscreen triggers my eczema. Thats how low maintenance my skin is! ๐Ÿ˜…
