  1. “ shaving does not make hair grow back faster”…” the reason hair grows back faster when shaving…”💀

    1. she’s saying it doesn’t make your physical hair grow faster, you simply remove more of the hair with plucking and it has to grow a whole new root to start growing again.

    1. Plucking removes the hair at the base, shaving can get rid of dead skin on your face. I recommend shaving, and maybe pluck the unibrow and moustache area. But pluck before you shave those areas lol

    2. @Username the only thing i hate about plucking is the ingrown hairs. 😭 It’s a high risk but i love being hairless For longer period of time…

    3. @Lin Lin 🐰🐰 that’s another reason why I just shave usually lol. My hair has become brittle since I moved to a more humid climate, the hair just snaps off and leaves hair slightly at the beginning, so I just stick to shaving.

    4. Try threading – no chemicals, all natural, and you remove the whole hair (not just a cut at the skin surface). Plus, if you get it done regularly, it will not hurt as much.

  2. Yes also it doesn’t make your hair grow back thicker either, it just appears thicker because when you shave you’re giving your hairs a blunt cut, you’re cutting the tapered tips of your hairs off so when it grows back it feels and looks more prickly but it’s not actually physically thicker than before, so when someone says if you shave your hair it will never grow back the same you know that it’s not true, it would just take awhile for it to grow back tapered.

  3. Please make a video explaining how shaving/plucking causes ingrows or are there any side effects for skin using them

  4. Is it true that plucking/waxing can stimulate more hair growth, Dr. Dray? I’ve read conflicting views regarding this.

  5. And hair removal doesnt make hair grow back thicker. That’s just hormones. You’re normal. Don’t listen to your aunties lmao

  6. There will be people that still swear that it does . This is one of those illusions (or delusion?) that carries on with generations . (ツ)_/¯
Forget logic or a doctor breaking it down !

    Thank you Dr.Dray . Have a wonderful weekend ✿

  7. It was really difficult to shave using a facial razor for women I got plenty of nicks on my face. So yesterday I tried it with 🪒 this kind of razor instead, the same style that I use for down there (Not the same one obviously, just a different piece of the same one).. Is that okay? I’m not gonna get man like beard stubble or something right?

  8. Hi, I have a question: is using tretinoin harmful for hyperpigmentation from acne. I have atopic dermatitis since born and my dermatologist says I’m not a severe case, but always having extremely dry skin which often falls off when I wear foundation. I wondered if tretinoin helps improving the situation I have right now…

  9. Just a small thing, but plucking makes me think of plucking feathers of a bird :( tweezing is less ick
