    1. @@DrDrayzdaydr dray. I’m a little unclear. Does this work by inhibiting the distribution of melanosomes? Or something else?

  2. I’m going to get these! Thank you for this video! Hope you’re not going to have to stay outside all the time when it’s so hot!

  3. I’ve been wondering about this serum. Thank you for another insightful and detailed review!

  4. Thanks, Dr. Dray. Always love hearing your new product updates. Appreciate you. Bummed that LRP had to go and put fragrance in these products.

    1. yeah, i would really love it if they stopped putting that heavy fragrance in these products, because the do so much great science to develop innovative cosmetic ingredients, only to ruin the formula with strong scents

    2. @@DrDrayzday 💯 %! I love their Lipikar Triple Repair AP+ body lotion, Cicaplast Balm B5 and their Gentle Hydrating Cleanser.

  5. I don’t know why they keep using horrible fragrances in their serums. It’s never a light scent that provides a sensory experience. It’s always very headache inducing, I end up returning the products.

    1. Totally agree. I had to return it since it is totally perfumed! Same with the Melasyl sunscreen.

    2. I mean they’re manufactured. for US markets. Also, it doesn’t need to be fragrance free, just make it a weaker scent or something that’s not as headache inducing. I don’t mind fragrance in skincare, to a certain extent. Embryolisse has scented products, and it’s a beautiful floral scent that doesn’t linger. Almost like gardenia.

    3. Right! It’s so odd though because I feel like it’s neither on brand nor what’s popular right now in terms of “medical skincare”. But maybe that’s not what they’re going for

  6. Thanks for this review. I have been using the serum for 3 weeks and I do see an improvement on my dark spots that even my daughter notices. I couldn’t stand the fragrance the first couple of days but it seems to be less strong after the headspace has a chance to vent out. Looked up the structure of 2-MNG and the SH group might be the reason they included fragrance. The molecule also remind me of cysteamine—SH and NH2 groups.

  7. I’ve been using the SPF! I enjoy it. I get irritated by niacinamide so I won’t use the serum, but the SPF says it’s 5% niacinamide so I can tolerate it. I also believe it’s 0.5% Melasyl – it’s the same base formula as the Kihels Auto-Tone Discoloration & UV Solution (released like a week or two ago) and that formula mentions the %.

  8. I adore this serum. Keep using it since almost 2 months and my dark spots on the forehead and cheeks are so much much less visible. I use it under the SPF during the day. Smell is very mild and pleasant (I bought it in Poland), also no irritation. I love this product. I was also using the previous version of this serum a year ago and was very satisfied with the results.

    1. Ha-ha, I am also in Poland and I do see amazing results from this serum after 1 months! I have my before-after photos and I love the results đŸ«¶

  9. Also, if I may add, my mother and I are not close. Shes very traditionally Catholic Puerto Rican, in Manhattan from the island, We have you in common thanks to my recommendations to view your channel, as she’s vein (and perhaps me đŸ’ƒđŸ») and a retired RN in NYC. The conversations that we have regarding your videos, do bring us together, and have for years. Gracias Dra Suarez, we love you.

  10. Thank you for the review Dr. Dray! I have been using this serum for about 6 weeks now and I notice a big difference in the over all texture of my skin. It is becoming ever so smooth and even. The product has not been irritating in any way, the fragrance is tolerable, and it plays well with other actives. My two sun spots are still visible but I believe it takes around two months to see a difference. I am very happy with this serum as I’ve noticed positive changes. I have already purchased a second bottle. I really love it.

  11. I’ve been using it for 2 months, and I’m finally seeing results. Be patient, it takes time, but it works!

    1. @wiseowl1580  I have melasma and hyperpigmentation from acne. The Melasma is much more difficult to treat, but it’s starting to get better!

    2. @TesseractDome  My overall complexion is brighter, and my acne spots and melasma on the sides of my cheeks are definitely getting lighter!

  12. I really like the Glycolic B5 from LRP. It has LHA and tranexamic acid. That brightened my face so much. Only downside for me is it is expensive and turns orange ( they say it doesn’t affect it).

  13. Thanks so much for the review. They sound like nice products and many people in the comments seem to be using and loving them. Happy Wednesday, Dr Dray! I hope you have a lovely evening. 💕
