Hey I just want to say thank you. I watched one of your videos about lip care and it helped me SO much. My entire life I’ve been dealing with dried lips, like the skin is constantly drying to a hard shell and peeling off painfully leaving me with raw patches. When I was young I used Carmex constantly until I realized it might be the problem, then I switched to flavored lip balms and continued to use those my whole life. Yet the peeling never got better. I thought I had to resign myself to tolerating this forever. But after seeing your video I realized it could be that my skin is sensitive to something in the lip balms. So I switched to Vaseline for the last 3 months and for the first time in years my lips feel normal and soft! 😭 It feels much better than having sore crusty lips all the time. I’m amazed at how well it worked!
I was skeptical of Vaseline working for a while, but wow, it’s the only thing that actually helped me with my dry lips. Such a game changer!!
Yes, Sensodyne Extra Whitening is SLS free. I had Perioral dermatitis while I had Invisalign, I had to brush 3 times a day. I switched the toothpaste and kept using it since then.
I love that toothpaste. I saw and felt a huge difference once I started using it. It’s a little pricey, but worth it.
I have a tendency to overcomplicate things in my life, but after a year or two of playing around with a whole bunch of new products, I’ve gone back to the huge packs of Dove sensitive beauty bars at Costco. I just stock up on them if I’m running low and catch them on sale. I love them for face, body, and hands and they have the added bonuses of less waste and cardboard packaging and being travel-friendly. One bar to rule them all.

Dove is my daily go to! I couldn’t live without it. I have very sensitive skin, so it really calms my whole body and especially the souls of my feet. 🕊️
My sister loves it but I never could use it. Something irritates my skin and the skin around my nose and mouth. I used to get rashes and cold sores when I used it.

Looking forward to the spf lip balm video. I’ve tried 2 different Balms and one gloss with spf so far and all 3 taste or smell bad. Hopefully your video when it comes out will give me some more options that won’t taste or smell bad.
I purchase my SPF lip balm from Portland Bee Balm. All of their lip balms are handmade in Portland, Oregon 😊
Cay Skin by Winnie Harlow has a good spf balm and it smells like vanilla. Give it a shot.
Pro Tip for sunglasses. If you want to make sure you have the proper UV protection you can pop over into your eye doctor’s office and ask them to check it. It shouldn’t cost you anything, they have a machine to tell you if you are properly protected. We did this a lot for our patients , especially the ones that work outdoors a lot and began developing early onset cataracts or glaucoma

Thank you for posting this eye protection is so important , I get prescription sunglasses and a non prescription pair for contact lens days both made up from my optometrist, I live in Australia so sunglasses are a year round wear for me.
I wear the wrap around sunglasses that fit over my prescription glasses but also find the plastic frame reacts with my sunscreen & starts to look dull. At 61, my eye doc has told me I have the start of Nuclear Cataracts.

That Cetaphil Moisturizing Lotion is my morning and night face moisturizer. Incredibly cheap because the bottles are huge and last forever. Was happy to see the new formula has niacinimide! And I never feel moisturized enough when I use an oil-free moisturizer, so I love that this has oils.
Could you review the Trader Joe’s skincare in the near future? That would be swell!

The SLS-free, fluoride-free toothpaste is also a better choice for people with dementia. They may be unable to spit out toothpaste and swallow it.

Perfect timing for us! Going tomorrow and will get the retinol, Aveeno lotion, and Cerave sunscreen. I love the Cetaphil cream and Mrs. Meyers too! The soap scents don’t bother my allergies
Nice tour and breakdown. I’m so glad you mentioned hand washing. I see it all the time in public places women not only not washing correctly but not washing their hands at all!! Years ago I worked for a hospital in which I went to all the departments and gave classes and one on of them was on hand washing. I taught them to wash to the song Old Macdonald (they needed to get through the first verse to adequately get their hands clean). 🤣🤣
