Yes, I agree with everything in this video. I’ve used the ceraVe oil cleanser which is fantastic for removing my sunscreen which I religiously use, thanks to you, on my 70 year old face. Love it! And double cleanse with ceraVe cream gentle cleanser. I don’t like make up remover as the foaming oil cleanser really does a great job. Don’t like the make up remover wipes at all. Thank you for your content, it’s really helped me care for my skin.
Please review De:maf Here-Oh My First Hydrating Serum with Hyaluronic Acid, it’s a foamy but you need not wash it, available on Amazon, really want to know your thoughts on it & this K beauty brand
Enjoy your Tuesday everyone
happy tuesday!
It’s Wednesday here in Australia so happy Wednesday. 😄🥰
Just got OCuSoft foaming eye lid cleanser been using almost a week and already noticing results! Eliminate eye irritation and keeps oil glands clean. ☕️👍🏻
Oooh thanks for the tip! I have problem eyelids as of last winter & they drive me crazy. I use the ocu soft wipes when I’m having eyelid problems but a foaming cleanser would be great for removing makeup & hopefully help keep things stable. I’m pretty sure I’ve developed an ingredient allergy too but my mom has terrible problems with the same eye stuff so I assume it’s going to be a complex issue for the rest of my life lol…
lid hygiene is so important!
@@standdownrobots_ihaveoldglory I’ve
I suffer from chronic Chalazions on my eyelids. I’ve had to have 2 surgically removed in the past. I’ve switched from using OcuSoft Cleansing Wipes to using the Ocu Soft Hypochlorous spray The wipes dried out the skin under my eyes. I’ve become diligent in using hot compresses and cleaning my eyelids everyday. And stay away from oil cleanser around the eyes!!
The wipe version is too rough and irritating to me. My brother swears by the foam for his chronic eye irritation
I’ve personally tried the cerave hydrating oil foaming cleanser in a travel/small gift size package and it was a pleasant experience plus i did try the double wash method with this particular one (first the cerave oil and next the water based cleanser). In the end the double cleanse was nice and worked efficiently by removing the water resistant sunscreen from face and body 😊❤.
I don’t wear makeup, but have dry-ish skin — I’ve been using this cleanser recently and LOVE IT. Zero residue left behind, and my skin feels soft and hydrated. Exactly what I need in these colder months.
What’s your instagram or snap
It is so good!!
I definitely use a double cleanse routine. My old standby for the 1st cleanse is Albolene.
La Roche Posay has a great oil to foam cleanser as well.❤
Yes it does and the one I have is suitable for face and body!🙂
I first wipe off my makeup with Ponds Cold Cream using a dry tissue paper and no rinsing off with water. Then, I wet my face in the shower and double cleanse with Cerave Gentle Facial Cleanser. Nothing better than that!! I’ve tried other products; however, I always end up sticking up to these. 👍🏻🙌🏼
Oops! Cetaphil not Cerave
However a Cerave Gentle Cleanser should be a great option, too!
Dry tissue paper…..I’ll have to try that! Thanks!
Yes a good classic Ponds Cold Cream is just always the best 😊
I’m currently enjoying Cerave Foaming oil cleanser . I don’t need to double cleanse in winter as I don’t wear wr spf , I rarely wear light make up . Great no fuss cleanser and I find it’s gentle and cleanse well . 😊
Hello from Greece! I have been following you for years, doctor, and I appreciate the help you offer us. It is invaluable! I am 64 years old with skin that is now threatened by dryness and sensitivity, before I had normal skin with no problems. I use a moisturizing cleansing milk as the first step for my evening face cleansing and then I use Cetaphil gentle cleanser as a second cleanser. In the summer I usually use a gentle cleansing gel as a second cleanser. My face is now clean and remains hydrated. The methods work and I am happy. The truth is that I prefer sunscreens that are not waterproof, except in the summer when I make sure they have the indication “water-resistant”, as well as in general I avoid using cosmetics that are advertised for long-term use or as waterproof. And, to tell you the truth, I do not use makeup, with exceptions.
Thanks for this! I use makeup wipes as my first step when I’m wearing lots of eye makeup, because it’s easier to fold the wipe around my lashes and swipe off. I follow it with a foaming cleanser. If I’m not wearing mascara, I might just use a micellar water as my first step (followed by foaming cleanser). These approaches both work for me. I used to use the Hada Labo oil cleanser for my first step, and I agree it’s more pleasurable to apply, but it’s a mess to wash off in the sink (much easier if you’re in the shower!). So, the micellar water works best for me, since it’s a bit less messy. Thanks for going into all the nitty gritty! Good to know that using the same cleanser twice has some effect, which can be helpful during travel or when you’ve run out!
Thanks to you and Angie Hot and Flashy, I (55yo) now wear sunscreen every day, eat better, and use much healthier products. This cleanser is one of those – I love it! My skin doesn’t feel dried out after I wash it anymore. I use it to wash my hands too. It’s so much better than regular hand soap.
If you ever wondered if your channel made a significant difference in someone’s life, I’m here to tell you, oh HELL yeah!
Have a wonderful week!😊
🤦🏻♀️ Never thought of using it to wash my hands. What a great idea! Thank you for sharing!!!
I agree. ❤️
I double cleanse with Prequel’s Gleanser and it works perfectly.
I wear heavy eye makeup daily. Including
waterproof mascara. I use eye makeup remover before double cleanser. The trick is applying the eye remover on a cosmetic pad and press and hold with eyes closed. Works great and sink does not clog.
I’ve been using this cleanser as my hand wash. It really helped control my eczema. Xx
Thank you for sharing ! 🫶🏻

I love the Cerave oil cleanser but never tried it for my first cleanse. I either use Albolene or an oil cleanser as my first cleanse and the Cerave for the second. This method works great for me. Nice to know that you can actually use it for both the first and second cleanse! Thanks, Dr Dray. Happy Tuesday! I hope you have a blessed evening. 💚
Elf cleansing balm is just great and affordable. It does wonders on eye makeup and mascara as a first cleanse.
My routine is neutrogena eye makeup remover on a pad. Press, not rub. Then a good swipe with micellar water. Then Clinique cleansing balm, rinse off and finally follow with a gentle face wash. I do use a clean white washcloth every night for the process and do it at the sink. Sounds complicated but doesn’t take that long and gets everything off, super clean!
As the weather gets colder, my skin gets dry and sensitive. At night, I use a small dab of petroleum jelly to remove my eye makeup and then wash my face with a Dead Sea mud bar soap. In the morning, I use Tatcha The Rice Polish Calming. The petroleum jelly works best if I wet my eye area first.
