  1. We have all seen that look somewhere and personally I verbally ramble so much my mouth ain’t got time to wrinkle! 👍🏻☕️🤠 Nice topic today and God Bless to Dray and folks! 🙏🙏🙏

  2. Agree smoking can cause lip lines, but also nothing mentioned about so many people drinking from straws all day long with their perpetual sippy cups now days. This habit is exactly the same motion as smoking to increase lip lines.

  3. Fraxal laser treatment is an effective treatment. Ellacore micro coring can make a noticeable difference. Tretinoin is a good option. I enjoy your channel ❤.

  4. Not a smoker, but years ago I was told to use straws to keep coffee and teas from staining my teeth. Now i have smokers lines. Sure wish I’d known this 40 years ago.

    1. Same😩 Meanwhile, teeth whiteners are easy to use at home and extremely effective. The lip line wrinkles are much more difficult to treat. I have seen no benefit with my lip lines from years of tretinoin, LED lights, and chemical peels😭 Doing a CO2 laser in 10 days, but my plastic surgeon said that still won’t completely erase them😞

    2. How many hours a day did you spend sucking on straws? 5-6 hours? Highly doubtful that it has played a role in your lines. Red string and a pinboard doesn’t make you a detective.

    3. Sometimes this is genetics. Also do facial workouts to beef up your face muscles and fill out lines. Yes, this is real and truly works. Like any muscle in the body, they can grow and become more firm.

Muscles in your cheeks and around your chin that are responsible for how your lips move can improve lines, when they are stronger and larger, everything is pulled in and back to accommodate the larger muscles.

  5. I am not a smoker BUT have terrible lip wrinkles. I’m 60 and have a large mouth and a wide smile… therefore I seem to have lots of lips wrinkles. Who knew smiling was a bad thing. I’ve used my Omnilux mask and CurrentBody Lip Mask for close to two years. I also us the Nira Laser original, PRO and PRO+ for over a year. I will continue to use both BUT I cannot say I’ve seen any difference after use. I’m ALWAYS searching and trying to improve the area around my mouth. I also use a tiny application of RX Vitamin A. I did try Botox around my mouth but saw no results and my derm said fillers are what helps BUT I don’t want to go that direction and way too expensive.

    1. I am 69 and have prominent upper lip wrinkles too, although I’ve never smoked. I do have a big smile, and I smile often, I never even thought about that causing wrinkles!

  6. Ha I love you!!! As a 59 year old woman I’ve learned sometimes you just need to close the door and have a good cry and get over it…..watching my face and neck age has been wild. Thanks to you though I’ve learned so much and am diligent about my skincare. 💖

    1. Aww…I get it, we must accept but we can still do skincare and I believe it really does make you look nicer. And for me, another upside is that I get to see my granny again when I look in the mirror.

    2. Absolutely!!🙌🙌🙌 Your so right! I’m right there with ya! Can’t believe sometimes how it seems to just appear out of nowhere! 😁
Where has the time gone?! Weren’t we just in our 30’s? Lol

    3. I’m 55 and am shocked at my reaction to aging. (It hasn’t helped that after having great skin, after menopause it is just a mess. All over too.) I always assumed I would age gracefully. I thought I would smile wide with pride notwithstanding the wrinkles and grey. But as with all that came before, nothing is predictable no matter how much we plan. The frizz and scars showed up way too soon! I don’t feel like people treat me. I was happy to see these comments. 🫶🏼🥰

  7. I so wish you were my dermatologist. I have not had good luck getting one that cares about yours truly, they all seem so shallow, too. . Thank-you for this video thank you thank you thank you

  8. I’m 62 and just found out one of my childhood friends passed away last week. So I’m just grateful to still be alive, lip wrinkles and all.

    1. My first childhood friend death happened when we were still in childhood 😢

Then a few peers died during high school, then more in our 20s (several sewer slides and opiate ODs).

I understand. it is a shock and makes you appreciate what you got. I think so many people around me have died already, including my dad, that my own fear of death left me a long time ago.

    2. Sorry for your loss. I just lost my 62 year old sister. No reason why she just died in her sleep. They said blood aneurism. 😢

  9. Just everyday talking and eating creates lip lines, does it not??? Never smoked, not a straw person. I’m 68 i have lines…i do what i can, sunscreen everyday for sure. Im gonna just grow older, wiser with grace!!

    1. Smokers lines is just a term it just comes from everything we do with our mouths and the way the muscles move… And sun damage. I don’t know why people get so hung up on the term smokers lines…

  10. I’m a non smoker but definitely come from the era of lying in the sun covered in baby oil! I’m 75 and am just glad I have escaped without developing melanoma.

  11. Great timing ! Was a smoker and have just booked in for laser with my dermatologist in a few weeks. Not just treating lip lines of course Thank you for always being so informative and practical.

  12. I’m glad you mentioned red light therapy. I’m 56 and since 2 years I use the Lip Perfector from Currentbody. I’ve noticed that my upper lip is more plumped and less wrinkled.
Very satisfied with the results and will continue using it along with tretinoin.

  13. I always liked your cozy videos, when you made your coffee and things like that, showed your decoration, just cozy struff!!!
