    1. I think you’re supposed to avoid any exfoliation for a few months after getting a tattoo, but it should be fine once it’s fully healed

    1. i can’t remember for sure but she might be one of the providers who says it’s unsanitary unless you’re laundering and getting a fresh washcloth every time for example, which i’ve always found to be an odd perspective considering you can generally remove any dangerous germs from things in the shower by washing them with the detergent in your shower

  2. I’ve made the mistake of exfoliating my body with an Italy towel then put drunk elephant glycolic acid lotion on top

  3. The process you describe is what is used at Korean spas, where one is required to submerge the body in a large pool of warm water for about 20 minutes before an exfoliating scrub session. Wonderful experience and such smooooth skin as a result. I need to book a session soon!

  5. Use a microfiber towel, gently removes dry skin. I use it with dry skin and damp towel, gently removed the flakes from dry skin or flaking condition. Then immediately follow up with moisturizing lotion or cream. After doing this for a few days, dry skin really lessens. Use a soft microfiber towel like the kind for hair and washing. Works great! 👍🏻

Physical exfoliation if done properly is beneficial to the skin

  7. Just the video I wanted to see! I tested a salicylic acid body wash on one leg and a Japanese wash cloth on the other leg for a month or two to compare the results. I feel like the wash cloth got me better results (less ingrown hairs and quicker healing of scars/marks from ingrown hairs and bug bites etc). Now I’m repeating the experiment with the ordinary glycolic acid 7% leave on vs a wash cloth.

  8. Absolutely fantastic information!! Because of you Dr Dray, I have chgd my routine. It’s def helping my 61 year old skin! Thanks! 😊
